Villetta Orchidea: professional sanitization and wonderful shared pool

We spent 18 days in the property and made the following experiences: - the pictures and the description of the house are 95% marketing. You won't see sunsets or green hills, but run down neighbouring houses and trash along the streets, even within the vicinity. - the pool is cold, aged and dirty. There's no sunbeds (unless you heavily insist and fight for them). - the house and its set up is aged. Bathroom and kitchen are 15+ yrs old and smelly. Cookware, cutlery and dishes are miserable trash. - beds and matraces are worn out and stinky. - air condition in one sleeping room only. - the washing machine is a rusty nightmare. Using the machine together with air con crashes the houses electricity. - the house has no lightning rod. During our stay, we experienced a lightning strike + fire 30m further, which makes this a considerable threat. - the house is part of the daily route of 15-30 pcs of wild boar, resulting having them around 24/7, including several silverbacks, which we experienced as an agressive thread, esp. towards the kids. - Communication with the operator Sardinia Unlimited was a complete nightmare. - the only plus was the local housekeeper, who tried to cover up apparent inadequacies as good as possible. All in all too expensive for what it is. We'll definitely come back to Sardinia, but will choose a different property.

Wonderful holiday that every day gave us a breathtaking view from our terrace.

We spent the weekend of August in Costa Paradiso, at Villa Orchidea. We were immediately fascinated by the surrounding landscape, and as soon as we finished the check in we immediately jumped into the swimming pool surrounded by this landscape. The outdoor shower located in the back of the house is very comfortable, as is the presence of an area for grilling. Both check in and check out were very quick, thanks also to Rina's extreme kindness and professionalism. The house was exactly like in the photo, and we found it in perfect condition, with even a welcome wine for the sunset. Experience highly recommended. We will definitely be back

Abbiamo trascorso il weekend di ferragosto in Costa Paradiso, presso Villa Orchidea. Da subito siamo rimasti affascinati dal panorama circostante, e, non appena abbiamo finito il check in ci siamo subito buttati nella piscina immersa in questo paesaggio. Comodissima la doccia all’aperto situata nel retro della casa ed anche la presenza di una zona per grigliare. Sia il check in che il check out sono stati molto rapidi, grazie anche all’estrema gentilezza e professionalità di Rina. La casa era esattamente come in foto, e l’abbiamo trovata in perfette condizioni, con anche un vino di benvenuto per il tramonto. Esperienza consigliatissima. Torneremo sicuramente.

Schöner und ruhiger Ort inmitten von Natur mit wunderschönen Stränden. Das Team von Sardinia Unlimited hat alles bestens vorbereitet und war immer einfach und schnell zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für gute Zeit und Aufwiedersehen.

Villetta immersa nella natura sarda, cercavamo pace e relax ed è proprio ciò che abbiamo trovato. Torneremo sicuramente magari visitando qualche altra zona della costa, Sardegna isola magica!! Una menzione speciale va anche all'agenzia con cui abbiamo prenotato che ci ha seguito dall'inizio alla fine, professionali e sempre pronti ad ogni richiesta.
