Villa with private heated pool and great view: peace and space guarantee

We were really pleased with the accommodation and the surroundings. The distances stated in VRBO however we're not accurate and we were a lot further a way from beaches/airport/Málaga than anticipated. We mentioned it to the homeowner Gerda who was apologetic and also surprised by the distances stated on the website. If we hadn't had 2 children with us then it wouldn't have been a problem at all. Us adults would have happily stayed at the house and enjoyed the nearer surroundings, but the kids found it a bit boring and struggled with the long car rides

We had a wonderful time staying at this villa. Gerda the owner, is absolutely lovely. Prior to staying at the villa and whilst we were there she responded to our questions and enquiries straight away. She is happy to give you any help or advice and can speak Spanish, English, Dutch and German! The views from the villa are breathtaking. Yes, the roads are a little windey to get up there, but it was worth it for the views, and the property itself. The pool is heated (Gerda provided us with swim towels) and the property is beautifully presented, with everything you could possibly need. The local town, Comares is a mile or so away. Lovely to look around and follow some of the trails near the old fort. The town of Nerja is worth visiting and lovely for shopping. We had three teenagers with us, and went on a Kayaking trip at the coast (Maro Nerja Kayaks), good fun going through the rocks and swimming in the clear crystal sea. We were very sad to leave, which always means we had a brilliant holiday. Beautiful area, wonderful villa

Gerda is very nice and available! The house was very clean! All amenities were there. The views and the quite were top notch! And the reason why we choose Comares. Wifi excellent and the pool more than enjoyable at perfect temperature. If you're planning to stay here don't forget to taste the great paella of Emilia (refer to Gerda).

Lovely peaceful place, very well equipped. Enjoyed the wood burner and the wood provided by Brenda! A bit far from the city, however, there is a nice local shop close by. Be prepared for narrow mountainous road but it is worth it as the place is beautiful and private.

A wonderful property and lovely host. The villa had everything we needed and was super for the kids - my son was overjoyed to find 2 big boxes of lego in his wardrobe! The villa is situated is such a beautifully peaceful place and the view is just spectacular., nothing to hear apart from the birds, the breeze and the cicadas. Geerda was so helpful too, and more than happy to answer any questions. Comares is within walking distance and Los Venetos is even nearer which has 2 restaurants to choose from. We had a super stay - Case Feliz will stay in our hearts for a long time.

We stayed at Casa Feliz for 2 weeks and we cannot recommend it enough. The villa was spotlessly clean upon our arrival and the owner, Gerda was awaiting our arrival. She showed us around the villa and gave us some pointers on local attractions and places to eat. The villa is very well stocked if you dont fancy eating out all the time, with lots of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The outdoor space is stunning, with views across the surrounding area, but offering security with gates for little ones. The pool is fantastic and was certainly warm enough for a swim the entire holiday. Gerda was always available to answer a question, but never intrusive. We would highly recommend the villa for a thoroughly relaxing holiday, but it is also close enough to larger towns such as Antequerra and beaches in Torre del Mar for sightseeing or a day at the beach for some freshly grilled fish at one of the beachfront restaurants. We spent a very restful 10 days at Casa Feliz. It’s location and surrounding area is stunning and the views from the property just amazing. The house is very comfortable and had everything we could have possibly needed. The pool was a great size for a family of 4 and exceptionally clean. It offered sun all day but also welcome shady areas. Access to the house is by a good mountain road and not nearly as scary as others we have stayed in. I would always recommend a fair sized engine to make it easier though. The village of Comares is very pretty but to be honest a little too quiet for us (definitely missing an ice cream shop!) The El Molino restaurant very close by was a good find. The good roads did however make it easy to travel, with Nerja and Malaga only about 45 minutes away. We were however very happy just to chill by the pool and enjoy the views and peace and quiet. Gerda is lovely and was very helpful prior to us arriving. She kept in touch but had the perfect balance of leaving us to our own devices once we were there. A truly beautiful property in a stunning location.

The owner couldn’t have been more helpful. Left a breakfast basket and wine as a welcome and was on hand whenever we needed tips and advice. Very good facilities, nice and clean and a few restaurants nearby.
