Villa with pool in the Alcantara valley, near Etna and Taormina.

We stayed in this accommodation for a week. Upon arrival, we found the house in a very clean and welcoming state. The cheese platter, baguettes and wine were a pleasant surprise! The house was even better than the pictures had shown. Great pool (deep end was great for plunging in the water) and awesome citrus trees around the property/garden. Airco units worked well. Located near the Alcantara river, close to the Etna and the coastline; so a great place to stay. Good communication with Caroline and Daniel. We enjoyed staying here and would 10/10 recommend!

+ Nice house in the country side. + The house is well furnished and easy to live in (September period). + The relationship with the local representative is nice and easy + The welcome procedure is perfect and flexible. Which we appreciated with early arrival. On top we had a wonderful little attention with local product we really appreciated. - Indeed we heard the dogs barking night and day. Very annoying during rest time. - Maintenance and cleanliness of swimming pool could be improved. (Nobody came to clean and no instruction on how to use the equipment left) - Garden is wild which brought a lot of moskitos As we are in the countryside, farmers can be working around with engines all day. It was not a pb for us as we were visiting the beautiful area, but if you want to rest this might be annoying.

Relaxing stay in this airy open plan house in a private location. Contemporary and simple feel downstairs with great pool and pool area to chill plus outside dining area. Spacious main bedroom upstairs and bathroom (shower only) plus 2 further bedrooms great for kids. Beds were very comfortable. No garden area as such, mostly wild and citrus trees. No shortage of lemons. Arrival was great - early check in and amazing cheese, charcuterie, bread and wine as a warm welcome. Kitchen was well equipped and nice dining table plus snug seating area by the fireplace. The heater provided on day 3 was a perfect addition. Many large and loud barking dogs at all hours next door - suggest bring a speaker and play music to help drown out the noise.
