VILLA with pool in Mondello 15 people

Myself and a group of friends stayed here in September. Claudia was accommodating of our check-in time and was at the villa when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the house and offered to show us the neighbourhood (which is a gated residential community), and also offered to drive us to the local supermarket for our first shop. The outside of the villa is perfect and very well maintained. The pool is large and a maintenance man visited twice during the stay to care for the pool (although we would have appreciated a message to warn us he was coming as it was a surprise in the morning). There is plenty of group seating, and the BBQ/pizza area is lovely. We had a fun night (trying) to make pizzas! The inside of the property is very big with an unusual layout. We had plenty of space for our group, but feel there are a few areas that could be improved. For example, the beds, pillows, and towels could be better quality and the showers could be updated. Also, one morning we woke up and there was no running water. Claudia arranged for plumbers to come to the property, and the issue was resolved within a few hours. A few notes about the local area. The supermarket is a 15 minute walk away, but the route is not really designed for walking and it would be safer/easier to hire a car. Mondello beach is a 40 minute walk from the villa. Palermo is a 15-20 minute drive away. Be wary of getting into a taxi without clearly agreeing the price beforehand, as we had an incident during the holiday where a driver tried to charge an extortionate amount. Overall we had a great holiday and enjoyed our stay at the villa, but feel a few updates should be made to the interior of the property to meet the high standard of the beautiful garden and pool.

The stay in Mandello was awesome and our host Claudia was very kind. She did a great job with all the service she provide to us. The accommodation is located in a very quiet area with everything you need in the near. We have been 9 people who were enjoying the stay there. We are recommending it 100%. This home was fabulous! From start to finish Claudia was a great hostess. Our family went to Sicily this past December. We are all originally from Southern California and even though we knew it would be cold in Sicily, we were not prepared! Claudia cranked up the heat and brought extra blankets! It turned out that she set the temperature of the house perfectly and we never even used the extra blankets! Ample towels were provided but Claudia showed up with a second round of clean towels and clean sheets half way through our stay. We did not use the pool but it was gorgeous and we appreciated the beautiful view. The citrus trees on the property were full of fresh fruit and although provided by Mother Nature, we thought it a nice touch. The property was perfectly tended to an beautifully landscaped. The beds were comfortable with nice linens. The kitchen was a perfect size and we used it frequently. She even taught us how to make coffee in her percolator! The neighborhood was quiet. Overall, my family and I loved staying in this beautiful Sicilian home and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for lovely as well as comfortable accommodations! Thank you Claudia for making such an important part of our visit to Sicily available to us!

Five of us enjoyed the lovely house and pool for eight nights. The location is convenient and we could walk (25 minutes) or drive to a really nice sandy beach. We recommend this property for a lovely Palermo stay.

We came to Sicily for our daughter's wedding. Claudia was wonderful meeting us at the home even though we arrived later than expected due to flights. She was easy to communicate with and very attentive when we had questions or there was an issue within the home. We rented both units and the home is very large with very lovely surroundings. The only recommendations we have are that guests are given more towels as there is only a washing machine and no dryer so laudering is challenging especially for a large group like we had. Also, the bedrooms with no air conditioning would be more comfortable in the hot summer months if there were overhead fans. Otherwise the home was very comfortable and roomy. We would definitely rent this home again. We enjoyed working with Claudia.

The house and garden were immaculate with lovely living areas and pool. The downstairs bedrooms were not air conditioned but comfortable for my teenage sons. The main part of the house was on the upper level with adequate cooling. The house was very secure in a gated community. Very central to drive to visit Palermo, Segeste, Monreale, Cefalù and various beaches. Overall a lovely stay.

The grounds were beautifully landscaped and lit at night. The pool crystal clear! The villa was beautifully decorated and offered a comfortable, cozy environment. The hostess was very accessable and accommodating. She offered some sightseeing suggestions and connected with a fantastic driver to help get us around. Would definitely go back again!
