Stayed Aug 19, 2024We felt at home immediately in this lovely villa. It's comfy, clean, well equipped and in a great spot - quiet but close enough to beaches and restaurants. The pool area is great - all day sunshine but plenty of shade if needed. Marinha and Benagil beaches are walkable from the villa but you'll need a car to go further afield. We really liked Praia de Caneiros in Ferragudo and Alemao in Portimao. Both had sunbeds/shades for hire and cafes/restaurants. Carvoeiro is a ten minute drive and has great bars/restaurants - loads of choice! We also went to Benagil a couple of evenings and really liked O Literal and O Algar. O Stop at Centeanes is a fantastic spot right by the beach. If wanting to do a cave tour by boat we recommend using Get Your Guide to book them. We did one from Portimao with Atlantis Tours - better value than booking at Benagil beach.

Stayed Feb 4, 2020We had a lovely time at Caramujeiro. The house has nice ,clean interior design, modern, clean lines with a bit of 'bling' added for good measure. The location was quiet enough- the occasional dog barking, but it always stopped soon, so no problem. The beds are good quality with warm bedding. Plenty of space all around the villa. If you come with a dog, bring a long rope, as ther are no secure property boundaries to the front. All around marvelous stay.
