Stayed Aug 10, 2025Stayed for a family vacation with an age range of 12-71 years. Lovely quiet area with a few restaurants and bars in short walking distance. We did find that these were more local which we enjoy but, as we were there for 10 days we like a bit more variety so we took Ubers to Portimao (10 minute ride), Alvor (20 minute ride) and Praia de Rocha (15 minute ride)The villa was very clean and had everything we needed. We did find that the electric kept cutting out when more than one thing was in use ie. the oven and the toaster but this could be re-set using the box behind the painting by the front door.The pool area was amazing and the kids loved the table tennis area inside too.We enjoyed nights at the villa as a family and had BBQs which was a great option to have. It is only a 10 minute walk to Lidl, Aldi, another large supermarket and McDonalds
