Stayed Jun 20, 2025Our stay at this beautiful house in Torre delle Stelle was nothing short of magical. The location is simply breathtaking – nestled in a peaceful and picturesque setting, with stunning views and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere. The surrounding area is equally amazing, full of charm and authenticity. We were constantly met with warm smiles and genuine friendliness from the locals, which made our stay even more special. But what truly made this trip unforgettable was the incredible hospitality of Maria and Enrico!!

Stayed Jun 9, 2025Beautifully situated on a hill overlooking the beach and sea by more than 180. We were a family of 6 adults and two small children and the property gave us plenty of space inside and out. There are four seating areas with a great BBQ so you can always have shade, breeze and sun!The kitchen is small but well equipped. The lounge is large and comfortable with a large window overlooking the bay.Communication with Maria was good and she and her husband met us at the bottom of the village and showed us where the villa was and ensured we had our questions answered They also left us with a fridge of anti pasti, beer, wine, soft drinks and bread. Most amazing welcome pack ever!!!There is no air conditioning which may be a problem in the height of summer but fans are available and there is usually a breeze blowing .The area is quiet and restful. Good pizzeria and market near the beach which was great for all the family. We would love to visit again.

Stayed Apr 15, 2023We had a wonderful stay at Villa Anna. The welcome from Maria and Giovanni was very warm and helpful . The house is beautifully furnished with a great living room! But the terraces are the jewel in the crown, where you can enjoy the morning sun on one side and the sunset on the other. The beautiful beach is a 15 minute walk away and under 5 minutes by car. All in all, highly recommended!

Stayed Jul 1, 2022The setting is absolutely beautiful, with panoramas from nearly every window. The house has large outside areas, for dining or relaxing, and a comfortable dining and living area. The home has 5 bedrooms; 4 with views (many with ceiling fans) 5th bedroom would be ideal for small children--no view and bunk beds. We did not use this room as it was too hot, and instead moved a mattress onto living room floor. Most windows and doors have screens, which is a must because of the heat and occasional mosquito. The two outside showers are perfect. We appreciated the three portable beach umbrellas that were provided. We explored many beaches; Cala Dolfino, is within walking distance and is perfect for those inclined to hike to a secluded spot. Both beaches nearby, are easy car rides. A car is A MUST. I would suggest a Jeep or fuori strada as the roads in Torre are not maintained and particularly, the roads on hill are challenging. The driveway, typical of the area, is on steep incline. When the rental car company asks if you want extra insurance--take it! As for parking at the home, there is space for two cars. If you are a group with two cars, it does take some maneuvering to get into place and navigate then back down hill. Grocery shopping was easy at the two local stores; we ate out nightly and enjoyed Andycoc e il Moro.. Not fancy, but fresh food and right on the beach. Da Barbara in Solanas was quite good as well. It is not noted on the VRBO pages, but only in the contract you sign the week prior, there is a bed linen & bath towel fee, which surprised us. I don't know anyone who travels with their own bed linens. All in all, a beautiful spot enjoyed by Nonna (80) down to the 5 teenagers.

Stayed Jun 29, 2019All three generations in our immediate family, ages 8 to 87 spent two weeks at Enrico and Maria's house in Torre Delle Stelle in early July and had a wonderful time. The location is absolutely unique with panoramic views of the sea on more than 180 degrees and a short drive from the beach of Genn'e Mari which is a gem. Enrico and Maria are truly charming hosts and went well out of their way to ensure everything was in order with the house, which is well equipped even for a large group. There were 9 of us at some point and it never felt crowded. This is a great spot for a relaxed stay by the sea. It takes a little time to get in and out of Torre and into Cagliari but it's overall very manageable if you plan for it. We will have great memories of the trip for a long time.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We visited South Sardnia back in September 2015, and as a family of 10 we found the villa to provide beautiful sea view and ample space inside/ outside. It's located circa an hour's drive from Cagliari airport, there are 5 bedrooms, average size, with one bigger bedroom. Although only 3 bathrooms, which clearly need refurbishing, we were eager to take shower al fresco, as there are two additional showers outside. This traditional Sardinian villa has panoramic view of the sea and the nearby beach, there is also a nice restaurant/bar/pizzeria and local supermarket at the bottom of the hill of Torre. Upon our arrival, the owners welcomed us with a bottle of wine and home made cake, which was a really nice gesture. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, there is all necessary equipment in the house, including white goods, the view is breathtaking and compensates for the lack of the swimming pool. Please mind- there is parking space for two cars only, yet we were welcomed to park the third car outside the villa on the nearby road, and one of the rooms has bunk beds- useful if you have kids, less practical if you're all adults.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were three families with three small children and three grown-ups to stay in this house. We came late in the evening by taxi which was booked through internet. The host Giuseppe and his wife Maria met us in the house (they got some food for us to have in the morning, brought us water and some wine for welcoming). They showed us the house, we signed necessary documents and they left. We were a bit embarrassed that we needed to climb very steep to the house with all our luggage (though we were told that the house is 100 meteres over the sea level). In the morning we were very impressed by the views we had out from our windows and from the garden near the house. Later we never regreted that we lived high on the hill (for the first time we did not have a car rented) - the views and the atmosphere were great. The place itself is very calm. They have three restaurants, two supermarkets, pharmacy and small markets near the stores. One restaurant has free wi-fi. The lady who owns the restaurant (the one which is not near the sea) was very kind to provide us the possibility to make some printing (it was the only place in the village we found to do that). The beach is very beautiful and clean. They have there 2 bars and services of boat rent. The local bus service is very convenient, though they do not have very early from Torre delle Stelle or late busses (the earliest from Cagliary is 4.55 a.m. and latest 21 (a.r.s.t. rout 101 and 135). It's really a great place to stay. Thanks a lot to our hosts for such wonderful vacations! (if anyone has any questions - i will be glad to answer them). Inna
