The home is as pictured, short walk to stairs leading to beach or to the small town. Everything you need is in the home, and in town although if you are staying for awhile, we stayed for 4 weeks, you will want to have a car to explore. Restaurants are exceptional in town and beach is fabulous. An extra bonus was weekly cleaning including a change of sheets and towels- Dona Cristina was also helpful with questions and when I couldn’t figure out how to use the washing machine. We had friends and family visit and they were equally impressed with this jem of a beach location. Stay here, you will appreciate the comfort of the home.

My husband and I spent 12 days at Salema in this beautiful seaside property. A short walk from the village centre for restaurants, bars etc. The beach is 5 minutes at a slow amble! The house is very comfortable, everything in it you would need. It is very pleasant to sit in the courtyard in the late afternoon with a cool beer or glass of wine and watch the sun disappearing over the tree at the back. The lovely Mrs Celia is on hand to meet and greet and sort out laundry changes, any problems (although we had none). We love the area and would stay here in this property again, it was a delight!

Really wonderful modern house with lots of room and outdoor space. Walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The only downside is the WiFi is not reliable.

Very nice stay place, clean, well equipped and exactly as described. Only issue was wifi not always working but could not fault otherwise.

Spotlessly clean, fully equipped apartment with a view of the Ocean. Landlord was very helpful. I'm gonna return there for sure, it's paradise.

This is a recently fully renovated house in the best location you could imagine - a few minutes walking to a beautiful beach, which at the time of our visit (Easter holidays) was never really full. The house is fully equipped, including linen, towels, etc., and electric heaters for cool evenings. The landlord's communication was always very welcoming and friendly. We we greeted by his housekeeper Mrs Celia, who is just as friendly and helpful. We can only recommend a visit here.

Lovely house, very clean. Indeed well equipped kitchen. The location was also perfect, around 300 meters to the beach. The owner was very helpful. Many thanks also to Mrs Célia. We had very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

The house was very nice and clean. We didn‘t miss anything. The kitchen is very modern and we found everthing we needed. You can see the ocean from the house. To get the key on our arrival was no problem. The communication with João was perfect. We really appriciate our stay the and would choose the house again.
