Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were a group of 15 friends from mostly the USA. This house was perfect for our needs. We vacation together most summers, and of all the houses we have rented this one had the best kitchen and cookware. There was even a sharp knife, unheard of in most house rentals. The pool was warm, the walking-distance town, Ascain, was charming and had a good bakery. There is a large table on the covered porch we used for all meals, rain or shine. Highly recommended.

Stayed Jul 1, 2017The house and gardens were great, based on the foot of the pyrenees, views incredible, a feeling of serenity around the place and only a 5 mins walk into a pretty, catalan village with two bakeries, a small supermarket, a lovely old catholic church, a little village school and a couple of places to eat. The coast only 5 miles away, the mountains on the door step, cycling and canoeing all easy access. We were lucky with the weather too very warm. We were met by a lovely local lady, Michele, who showed us round the house and left her number if we had any questions. We rung her once about the pool cover and she got it sorted quickly. We would recommend this house/location to a large family or group of friends

Stayed Jul 8, 2017We were 5 kids & 7 adults and this was a great place for having fun at home and visiting nearby attractions. The pool was a big hit, though not heated, it is covered so stays warm. House has large garden, so very private, but close enough for Grandpa to walk to the boulanger for pain au chocolat every morning.
