Villa Župa in Dalmatian Hinterland with private pool near Biokovo

The house is very well equipped, modern, with a very big fridge, comfortable beds, air conditioning is every room of the house. The outside is also great, with a heated swimming pool and enough deck chairs. The surroundings are stunning, as the house is in the middle of mountains. We very much liked using the tennis court and mini golf, it felt very special to play in such an exclusive environment. Cleaning services for both the house and the swimming pool / terrace are included, which was appreciated. The only issue was a misunderstanding as the announcement on Abritel mentioned the availability of a separate studio / apartment, which actually was not available. The concierge was very helpful and always reactive in her communication. We had a wonderful stay there and found the country’s nature absolutely amazing.

So hard to leave and after a few days back, struggling to return to normality. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful villa. It is rural as stated so a drive to get anywhere but house is beautiful. Only down side is lack of written information in villa. Would be helpful o have some information on things to do close by, local supermarkets etc. communication with villa host was fantastic and small issues with lightbulb dealt with very promptly. House very clean on arrival. We had a very comfortable enjoyable stay.

The pool was clean. The surrounding area is a peaceful place with not much more than the mountains as neighbours. One “bonus” that we appreciated a lot was the sports facilities across the street. Mini golf, boule, tennis, basketball, football. You make a booking by texting the housewife and it was always available and she replied fast. It’s good to know that the nearest (small) mini market is 14 minutes by car and a bigger one is far away so plan your shopping. This is a place that will recommend to our friends and hope to return to!

1. Superb location - of course if we are going with the awareness of where we are going. The villa is situated in a small village in a valley between two mountain ranges. There is nothing here (not even a shop - the nearest one takes 13 minutes on a charming road), but it is a great benefit. It is very peaceful, quiet and charming. Access to the nearest town by the sea is approx. 25 minutes. To Makarska 35-45. Thanks to this location, you can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. 2. Great sports facility! A sensational and new sports complex with mini golf (I recommend playing with balls that glow at night in the selected color!), Tennis court, basketball basket, boccia track, etc. Good quality equipment is also available. It was a great idea to spend the end of the days when the sun was no longer blazing (the sports complex is available until at least 10:30 pm).
