Villa Tommaso Maruggi, Sicily with Jacuzzi and Private Pool

Host very helpful, friendly and great recommendations to visit and eat. Villa kitchen was amply kitted out with essential and useful items. Peaceful although some low level noise from building works undertaken next to the villa. Villa on a hill with amazing views. Wonderful gardens including herb garden, sun shining both side of kopppPlenty of off-road parking available. Family loved access to hot-tub on daily basis. Great way to conclude the evening.often

We had a lovely stay in Alcamo in October. Villa was large and very well appointed and Saverio the host couldn’t have been more helpful with some lovely gifts of food from his wonderful gardens and great recommendations on places to eat and things to see. Location is good central for most things but a vehicle is needed to reach the restaurants in town. All in all I would highly recommend if you want a real Sicilian experience?

Great home in quite location just outside town. Can easily stay on-site and enjoy the pool and covered patio or use it as a base for day trips around the area. Clean and well kept.

We stayed here for 14 days during a big family trip through Sicily. We travelled with our 15 month old and our 4 year old daughter and Savverio's home couldn't have been more perfect for us. The house has everything you could want, is pristine clean, and is a real Italian home. There's heaps for the kids to do around the house and in the gardens (inc. kids toys, a swing, play equipment, 4 or 5 different gardens and a high chair and Saverio even had a temporary fence installed for us at the bottom of the stairs to stop our toddler from climbing them!), Some days we didn't leave the house at all, and just pottered about and cooked while kids played - the kitchen is very well equipped, and the house works really well. The bedrooms are great, air con throughout and internet terrific - also a great Bose bluetooth sound system which we loved. On top of all this Savverio is truly a magnificent host. Genuine, kind, funny, and great with the kids. You can see he genuinely enjoys looking after guests and showing them the best of Sicily. As far as the town of Alcamo, there's not a tonne to see, but it's charm lies in the fact it isn't a tourist town, so you'll actually see a side of Sicilian life that feels real and get great food and non tourist prices. It's also a terrific base - each day we would leap into the car and head off to all the wondrous surroundings of the area. This is definitely a terrific place is you're happy to leap into the car to explore, want a base for a family that feels like a home away from home, and want to relax on the terrace each night watching the night slowly drift away in the distance. The photos don't do the view justice here - really world class views. We had the best time. Savverio is tops. Highly recommended. Thank you so much!!!

We had the pleasure to stay at this villa for 1 week. 3 adults and a 2 year old chils. The villa was very well equipped and clean. The owner, Saverio was very helpfull and gave us a lot of tips. He made us feel very welcome.

The house is situated on the outskirts of Alcamo, slightly elevated, so that even on hot days there is a light, pleasant wind and you can see as far as the sea. If it still gets too hot or too cold, the rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The wonderful garden invites you to relax or play frisbee, the large terrace to end the evening. With 3 beautifully equipped bathrooms available, the family was quickly ready in the morning without a fight. Surrounded by locals we enjoyed the time in the beautifully furnished house, close to a bakery and close to a shopping market. It was a successful holiday, also because the landlord was helpful, reserved and very pleasant. We'll come back next time.
