Villa The Cliff in Maiori

We had a great stay while visiting the coast. The home was spacious and gave us plenty of room to spread out. Plenty of kitchen supplies to cook meals in and the view was amazing. One caution, there are a lot of steps to access the property. Come prepared to climb them. Also short walk LTK abs from town on a busy road. These didn’t affect our stay but could be an issue for older adults.

Overall this property was great and we would return, but not everything was as expected. The host Georgiana was very friendly and quick to respond to questions and offer suggestions. The location was within walking distance of Maiori’s main area, but be prepared to walk up a hill and after walking up the 200+ stairs from the home. If you’re physically capable of this, then the views and access to the water below are well worth it. Gorgeous location! The two bedrooms in the house were large and also had great views, but the 3rd bed was not in a bedroom and used a privacy screen Located at the end of a large hallway, Studio style. The kitchen and bath were modern and what one would expect in Europe. Unfortunately the home was not equipped with WiFi and stated in the listing. Not a deal breaker for most, but it was a slight inconvenience to us as that was our only way to keep in touch with family from the US. The only other downside was the house’s electricity. We couldn’t run too many electrical components at once, including the 3 AC units for each sleep area at night. The breaker would trip and you need to then climb the 200 steps up to the box and switch it back on. As long as you are aware of these things prior, and are physically capable to walk up and down the stairs then it’s worth the stay. If these inconveniences don’t deter you, then we definitely recommend this home.
