Stayed Mar 15, 2025Everything about this place was 5 stars. This was my 3rd time visiting Las Galeras and the location & view from this villa are amazing. Hans was very responsive & helpful. We had a bit of a language barrier with Josefina (we don’t speak Spanish & she doesn’t speak English), but Hans was always quick to answer any questions we had. We had Josefina cook for us and it was amazing, so definitely try some of her cooking.

Stayed Apr 10, 2023AMAZING TIME!!! AMAZINg Villa! We were so sad to leave :( If I can give this house a 10 star I would!!! Check in (smooth), manager was informative and helpful! The two sweet Ladies (Josephina & Tatiana) waiting to receive us and serviced my family until the end!Her cooking is the best!!!! And Danilo the security guy always getting stuff needed and favors with love! Oh AND BEAUTIFUL BEACH 1 minute car ride!!! LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THE STAY!

Stayed Dec 21, 2019Hans was a joy to work with. We booked our property 11 months in advance and Hans was instrumental is making sure our trip went as smoothly as possible. Hans arraigned transport to and from the airport for us, found an 8-person rental vehicle that could accommodate our family, did our initial grocery shopping trip so we could enjoy ourselves as soon as we arrived, and finally assisted in booking our excursions. Hans even recommended Monte Azul and personally met us at the restaurant to drive us up to the restaurant because our rental vehicle was not capable of driving the road. Hans no longer manages Villa La Salamandre but if I ever travel to Las Galeras again I would seek out one of his properties.

Stayed Feb 17, 2019My family and I just spent a week at the house. It is breathtaking and wonderfully situated near town but not right in it. Hans was very helpful connecting us with local guides and was at the ready with any question. Josefina takes care of the house daily cooked for us three nights which was great! Danelo is the groundskeeper and showed us a secret path to a secluded beach. Heaven. All three were so kind and really made this trip unforgettable. We will be returning for sure.
