Unwind above the Adriatic in this design-led hillside villa, where an infinity pool tips into open sea views and four double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, comfortably sleep up to 8 guests.

Floor-to-ceiling glass runs the length of the open-plan living space, filling the interiors with natural light and framing the coastline beyond. The living room is furnished with tan and olive leather sofas around a low wooden coffee table, and a built-in library nook, lined with darkblue shelving, offers a quiet corner to read. The adjoining kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a cooker hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, coffee machine and fridge arranged around an open-plan island, and a wooden dining table set beneath sculptural black pendant lighting seats the whole group for meals.

Outside, the infinity pool is the villa's centrepiece, its edge appearing to dissolve into the sea beyond. A sun-drenched terrace surrounds it with loungers and outdoor dining, while a private, fenced garden and a barbecue area make the most of the quiet hillside setting. As evening falls, the stone-clad exterior is lit to dramatic effect, and the pool glows against the dark coastline.

For rest and recovery, a private sauna and a fully-equipped gym both look out over the sea, and a dedicated games room with a full-size pool table adds an extra draw for longer stays.

Location

The villa sits in the quiet hillside hamlet of Ravni, just outside Labin in eastern Istria. A traditional konoba, a local Istrian tavern, is a 5-minute walk away, while the clear waters of Waikiki Beach and a nearby cove are just 10 minutes on foot along the coast, popular with windsurfers for the wind and waves. The same short walk leads to beachside cafés, bars and a dog-friendly coastal hiking trail. Pula Airport is approximately a 40-minute drive away.
