Villa Platamona: exclusive villa with garden 50 mt from the sea of Sardinia.

The house is truly exceptional - everything one might want or hope for from a holiday home. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped in all respects, and everything just worked perfectly. Being able to walk to the beach in a couple of minutes makes life easy and the beach was beautiful and never busy. The whole compound has a very established comfortable feel and having a shop just across the road is very handy. We enjoyed excursions to see Nuraghe sites, to Sassari old town, Sorso and Castelsardo - all within easy reach and very enjoyable. The lake - the Stagno - made excellent walks for birdwatching (which I enjoy!) - usually quite quiet but a few nice, if brief, views of Kingfisher, Flamingo, Herons, Sardinian Warblers, Flycatchers, Buzzards and Marsh Harrier. Overall a really great place for an excellent vacation!

We really enjoyed our two weeks vacation. The house is equipped with everything we needed and very child friendly! Excellent communication and availability something is needed beyond. We would love to come back!

This is more than a house, it's an entire property that is basically oceanfront. The house is on the front row from the beach so the back garden backs up to the private neighborhood beach that isn't more than 30 steps from the gate. Driving up to this villa in a gated community, it screams an authentic Italian feeling. The villa boasts so much outdoor space that we hardly spent any time indoors, it's well-kept and beautiful. Carla and Gianluigi are the kindest hosts, not only did they stay up late to accommodate our check-in time, but they left us a basket of local goodies and a recipe to follow, which we did and my entire family loved it. They checked on us and gave us so many incredible recommendations. This property made our entire trip! I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience.

We had a wonderful time with our family. We enjoyed the beach nearby which was only 100m away from the villa (direct access to the beach via the garden). Great hosts.

We wish to thank Carla and Gianluigi for a wonderful stay at Villa Platamona! From the first contact during the booking process to the cordial goodbye, we felt as very welcome. Gianluigi was perfect with very prompt replies to our questions. When we arrived at the property, the house was perfectly clean. Carla and Gianluigi were wonderful hosts, who had prepared a welcome basket with specialties from Sardinia for us. The house is as shown on the fotos - even more spacious, in an excellent state. There are three equally large bedrooms, all on the first floor, beds and mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped. The roof terrace is a real highlight with a splendid panoramic view on the Asinara Sea and unforgettable sunsets. The terrace on the ground floor is large and the garden well tended. Not to forget the best thing: the very large beach is definitely not more than 70 steps away, using a small path starting from the garden. A garden shower (warm and cold water!) helps to get rid of the sand. You will reach Villa Platamona by car (in our case from Olbia airport a 1.5 hrs drive) passing a guarded entrance; the villa itself has an automatic gateway. Many wonderful places such as Alghero and Sassari and many more can be reached easily. In brief, this is the perfect spot for a relaxing holiday in wonderful Sardinia.

We enjoyed a relaxing holiday in a great house and garden with everything required to make the time perfect. We especially enjoyed the great view from the roof terrace ans the direct access to the beach.The sights to visit as well as the boat tours provided lots of entertainment. A special thanks to the great hosts that were supportive whenever we had questions. The welcome basket was a great surprise and it was filled with everything you could whish for.

Perfect location for relaxing

If you come to Sardinia mainly to enjoy beach relax, look no further. This is absolutelly fantastic location, just next to the beach. Villa Platamona is located within a guarded residence, which prevents unathorized people to access the residence. It means that the beach is never overcrowded even in the peak season. The beach is very clean, 50 meters from the property. The villa itself is in excellent shape, very well maintained, equiped and designed. It has a fantastic roof terace overlooking the sea, there is a garden with BBQ place, outside seating. There is nothing short of perfect. It has been our best visit in Sardinia out of four times we went there.
