Villa Paraiso Beautiful villa in an enviable position

This home was beautifully located at the most stunning beaches in Portugal. The ability to enjoy a hike and access sites was perfect for our stay.

We love staying at this villa. Beautiful pool and garden with the added bonus of it being only a short walk to Carvalho beach. The accommodation is clean and modern and the bedrooms are all lovely with their own bathrooms - so no arguing over who gets which bedroom between the children! The balcony on the upstairs parental suite has a lovely view, which I could sit and enjoy all day! A handy shop and 3 restaurants are within a couple of minutes drive at Rocha Brava, plus there is the onsite Italian restaurant when you don't feel like driving into Carvoeiro itself. If you don't feel like driving full stop, a taxi (details provided in the welcome pack) is easy to arrange and for the 5 of us cost approx 10 euros each way into Carvoeiro. We have now stayed at the villa 3 times and the highest praise I can give is that we have already booked to come again in 2021!

We had a lovely stay. The villa is spacious and there's lots of space in the lovely garden. The steps to the beach are only a minutes walk from the villa.

Excellent location. Commanding views. Roomy & well equipped. Gardens very well maintained.

Nice modern villa, however we were BURGLED, whilst in the villa eating a meal by the pool. The villa is located right next to the main route to a popular beach, and has an alley down the side of it. The villa is one of 3 or 4 on the route, and the others have much better security, leaving this one vulnerable to opportunist thieves. As the villa doesn't have the advertised ceiling fans (desktop fans only), or the mobile air conditioning units (de-humidifier), you need to leave doors open whilst in to circulate the air, in temperatures of 40 C. They jumped over the wall at the front and into the front bedroom and emptied my wallet and my wife's purse of cash. I reported the incident to the police, who came immediately, and I also contacted security, who I had to phone again after an hour to attend. I also reported the incident to the owner, and had discovered meantime that the 'fixed' light of the patio door in my childrens room would not lock at all - meaning the property had been unlocked for the first 5 days of my stay. When the man from security eventually arrived he fixed the door. And apparently, according to the owner - it was my fault - for not doing the relevant security checks on arrival! The incident ruined our stay, as my children were too scared to sleep in their own room, and we were very wary of all passers-by, leaving us all on edge. The villa itself is very nice and the gardens and pool are beautiful.

Villa was immaculate, great location and stunning views...only problem was that the company we booked with did not inform us that you cannot check in, until 4pm. Having booked over 4 months ago, providing flight times and agreeing to them booking transfer , they knew we would be at club atlantico at 10am.. The reception manager was very polite, however there are no bar or food facilities at the club until 6pm. I would like the owner to be informed that communication from their rental parties are not acceptable and less pleasing to the start of your holiday. If you have children and arrive early when the temp is 30 degrees you may want to take note of this !! Otherwise this villa is amazing ?
