Villa Panayia - large private villa with pool and amazing sea and sunset views

This is a beautiful house which is an absolute pleasure to stay in. It's comfortable, spacious, well equipped and with huge windows and stunning views. There are a couple of great restaurants within 15 to 20 minutes walking distance, and a number of lovely beaches within a short drive. The local supermarket is small but has a good choice and the quality is high. We really liked this area of Corfu.

The whole stay was amazing. We had 2 families together and we could t imagine a better place The sleeping accommodations, the pool, the kitchen and the sunset views were amazing.

Really enjoyed our family holiday here. Lots of space outside offering sunshine or shade. The views all around are amazing and the sunsets sublime. It is advantageous to have a car to get to the beaches of Agios Georgios and Arillas and also for shopping and exploring further afield. The villa itself is lovely - spacious and well-equipped and very clean ( thank you, Claire ). There are a few areas that are showing signs of wear and tear but nothing major. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

Had a super week stunning views

I have been travelling to various Greek islands for over 30 years and think this is one of the loveliest areas in which I have stayed - beautiful, verdant tree-covered mountains, and very pretty beaches. The villa is large and well-equipped situated high on a hill with wonderful views of the sea and sunsets. We are a family of six (four children aged 10, 15, 17, 19) and all agreed that this was one of the best holiday we have enjoyed. If you like walking there are around 5 excellent beaches 30-40 minutes away; although some of these are crowded in August, with a bit of hunting we found a small beach down a small, steep track with only 2 other people on it, and the snorkelling and coasteering here was excellent. Similarly, we found several good restaurants also within walking distance; the nearest is the Night Owl (around 10 mins). There is also an excellent supermarket fairly close by (around 1.5 miles), which has a great selection of skewers and meats for barbecuing. Although we hired a car for the duration of our stay (from Arillas cars - excellent [also for airport transfer]), in retrospect this was probably not needed (if you are willing to walk). Organising our stay was straightforward, and Fiona provided detailed instructions before our arrival which were very useful. Overall, a great holiday that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Villa Panayia is an outstanding residence. The villa has outstanding features and every facility. We were a group of seven adults and found the villa to be very spacious and comfortable. We had a wonderful two weeks there in June. Fiona, the owner was so helpful from the initial booking to our arrival. We would certainly give the villa the highest recommendation.

We spent a week with our grown up kids and partners (total of eight) in the phantastic Villa in Afionas. I did quite some research before choosing this Villa for our special trip and I am so glad I did, because it was the perfect place for us. Spacious, so you can seperate and/or meet just as you like and all of us just loved the views you have from the different outside spots around the house. Thank you so much Fiona, for being so responsive as well as helpful. We definitively highly recommend this Villa!!

Eight of us went for a very special week in Corfu and the villa was amazing. The photos online really do not do it justice - it is lovely in everyway. Claire our 'housekeeper' was fantastic, any queries/requests we had she sorted promptly including organising a fabulous lady to come to the villa to administer massages, heaven. We ate at the villa some nights and went down to Arillas on others. I am confident we will return to this wonderful place. A big thankyou to Claire in Corfu and Fiona in the UK for being so helpful and approachable in helping us to create our special week.
