Villa Oscar - Private Pool Retreat

Everything from start to finish was wonderful. We received a video showing exactly how to get to the villa a few days before hand, along with keysafe instructions. So although we arrived in the dark it was easy to find. The villa was very clean and had everything needed for our stay. I had a couple of questions whilst there, which were answered and dealt with very quickly. The pool and outside furniture were clean and plentiful. The tv was amazing haven't come across anything like it before in Cyprus. You can choose your country and it pucks up all the stations for that country. This was great for evenings we wanted to stay in. Could not recommend this villa and La Mer Homes enough.

The villa is potentially lovely - a good size and great location for both the beach. However, we had a number of issues which were not resolved - after the first email, they stopped replying!! The main issue was lack of cleanliness. The balcony was covered in bird poo (which had obviously been there for a while) the mattresses in the second bedroom were old, uncomfortable and stained, and the pool was only cleaned once during our 10 day stay. One of the sunbeds was broken & also one of the garden chairs. The maintenance and cleaning is clearly lacking, as is the customer service. We emailed the company initially to ask about when we would get fresh bedlinen & we’re told this would cost extra, but they would provide some as a goodwill gesture. We also asked when the pool would be cleaned - they could give us an answer. Well, I can tell you the answer is once in 10 days! I then emailed again after discovering the state of the balcony and my daughter’s mattress - and did not get a reply!! We ended up leaving early and spending a couple of nights with friends in a different villa. So, all in all, not the best experience. My advice is avoid properties managed by La Mer homes.

Everything about this villa was faultless. The villa itself was immaculate, the location was perfect, had all amenities within a 5 minute walk. 100% relaxing week, loved it all & will be visiting again in the future. Absolutely nothing!

Great pool and very private, not over looked, could do with some more cups and plates in the kitchen but apart from that it was great
