Stayed Dec 31, 1969After much research, we (5 adults) decided to celebrate my mothers 60th birthdays at Villa Maruka. Sanja is so very helpful, answering many questions I had over email and always quick to respond. The Villa has been tastefully brought back to life, with lovely furniture and decor to suit. The beds are very comfy, I have a bad back and found them to be fine for me. The kitchen may be on the smaller side but is very well equipped. We enjoyed the outside eating area everyday. Housekeeping was kept at a high standard throughout our stay, lovely lady. The many bathrooms were great to have with 5 adults. Sanja arranged for a fabulous masseuse to visit the villa for pool side massages, perfect holiday treat! We experienced a power cut one evening, which we didn't mind. Sanja came to check on us and informed us power was out in the whole village, which was thoughtful. We enjoyed star glazing by the poolside that night. Plenty of hot water when all the bathrooms were in use at all the same time. The local shop has everything you may need and fresh bread every morning. We did visit the larger supermarket in Supetar for a big shop. We ate most nights in Supetar, although we did visit a few nearby towns also. A car is definitely useful, unless you don't want to leave the villa during your stay. An evening stroll in Milna was lovely. Also visited Pucisca and Bol. Bol, yes the beach is amazing but we preferred the monastery side. There is a lovely cove beach and a few good restaurants that end. We really can't faulty any part of our stay at Villa Maruka. We would love to visit again one day. There is the villa name and star rating just as you enter the property, don't know why this is only 4 stars!! Needs to be more. We even had a homemade birthday cake waiting for our arrival, which was delicious and my mother was very touched by this lovely gesture. Thank you Sanja for all your help and advise. Lisa, Simon, Tally, Theresa (the birthday girl!) and Jim.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved out stay - a beautiful villa in a quiet location. Sanja was very helpful, quickly sorting out our lost internet connection after a storm, organised our car hire and speed boat taxi back to the airport. A perfect holiday destination.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969we cant thank Sanja enough for our stay in this lovely villa in beautiful surroundings. We stayed at Villa Maruka for 10 days as a family of four plus two friends and it really was a lovely time spent just relaxing and enjoying this wonderful island. from the moment Sanja met us on our arrival, we were made to feel very welcome and we were so pleased when we arrived at the villa and saw how comfortable and clean it was. Sanja was always on hand for anything we needed and we loved the fresh grapes and tomatoes that were brought from her garden. it really was a great holiday and we are already thinking about coming back next year. Thanks Sanja x.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were delighted with the property. It was well cared for and nothing was too much trouble for the owner. I would highly recommend the villa. It was the perfect tonicing for a relaxed stay but recommend hiring a car to get around the Island.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I can truly say we so enjoyed our stay at Villa Maruka. The villa has amazing grounds, pool and outdoor facilities; then inside the villa there is everything you could possibly need. We loved the location, the peace and tranquility was fantastic. And Sanja, who looked after us for our week in Villa Maruka, was the perfect host, giving great advice and tips, available when needed and supplied us with fresh vegetables from her own garden on a regular basis. The quality, care and attention given to this villa is immense, and it all adds up to deliver a great holiday. Thank you Sanja.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Maruka is charming and cosy to stay in. The place is very tastefully renovated with comfortable rooms and excellent bathrooms. We particulary enjoyed the sun deck with sea view and the outdoor barbecue area. An added bonus was the location in a genuine village - complete with church bells ringing and roosters calling in the morning :-)

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This summer we spent a wonderful and very relaxing week with our two children at Villa Maruka. Villa Maruka is located in the quaint old part of village Mirca, tucked away from hustle and bustle of tourist areas yet offering a beautiful sea view from the terrace and easy access to the beach and the town of Supetar, shopping etc. The house was very comfortable for the four of us. The pool and the terrace area is very private and well maintained surrounded by a garden in full bloom. Sanja and her team did a superb job throughout our stay and made us feel at home. The house and service definitely exceeded our expectations and we would be happy to return to Villa Maruka another Summer.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Maruka exceeded our expectations! Very pretty, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bedrooms were all well furnished with lovely large comfortable beds and the bathrooms were wonderful as well. The pool, the decking area and the outside dining room were so special, you could just lie there in total peace or enjoy a BBQ with a large bottle of homemade wine! Sanja was amazing, she helped us settle in and asked us what we would like to do whilst on Brac, she arranged car hire, bike hire, a scuba diving trip and a day excursion to Hvar.....nothing was too much trouble and we all liked her very much. You really do get what you pay for here, and the little village of Mirca was so pretty, very quiet with a church, a couple of small shops, a very good restaurant and a beach bar, what more do you need? We were a party of 6 including 2 children and we all agreed that this was one of the best properties that we had stayed in and thats saying something as we have all travelled around the world. Go on treat yourself to a holiday here.
