Villa Marilena - Private Pool Retreat

Villa itself was lovely Change the cleaning team, they seem to make things worse and secure the decking it was loose in quite a few places and some screws were protruding above the decking

Lovely big villa with a beautiful pool & ample outside area. The villa is at the end of a small cull de sac & is not overlooked at all. Generally the villa was comfortable & ample big enough for 6 adults. Both showers were good & were large enough for well developed adults. The Managing Agents were also very helpful (La Mer Homes) as upon contact on our first day, arranged for the immediate replacement of some light bulbs that had blown & also the delivery of 2 further new sunbeds as only 4 were in situate when we arrived & 6 were required. Very good helpful service. All good.

All in all we had a fantastic stay here. The villa was a perfect size for my family, and location, pool area suited us. Shop and beach in walking distance but used car for main town, could walk along costal path in 20 mins. Just a few minors which were fixed would make this a five star review. Outdoor sofas are filthy and cats use them as there beds at night. Microwave was rusty inside and no cleaning products or toilet paper provided of which I bought myself. Also basic kitchen condiments like salt, pepper ect. Pool area has loose decking and tiles and just needs some general maintenance like a lick of paint. This would be a perfect villa if little jobs were done. With all that said we still had a fantastic stay at villa marilena. Communicating with the villa property manager margarita was quick and easy and everything we asked for was adhered to.

The company was so helpful we had a delay and some lights out at the property and they sorted the work out within 24hrs as promised, every time I emailed them they got straight back to me. They could not be more accommodating 5 star. The only thing they could improve on is the property is looking a little tiered,needs freshening up.

This property needs updating. We had an issue with cockroaches and I emailed them and they first sent out someone to spray. Then after we saw more cockroaches we demanded that we leave. Thankfully another more modern house was available but we did have to wait 2 days. The bathrooms and kitchen need updating and the outside pool area is a little different than the pictures shown. The lounge chairs are older and torn and there is no chair cushions as shown on the side of the pool. The area is on a side road that is not walking distance to town and hidden. There are no views of water. The air conditioner in the downstairs bedroom is very loud and we had a hard time falling asleep. Getting into the house was easy with the lock box-I guess what lacks is the personal service and attention that we have gotten at other rentals that are not managed by a company. We are grateful that they could switch us out of this house. We don’t recommend it.

Great villa in a quiet, secluded location ideally located for both Protaras and Ayia Napa. Very well looked after by La Mer homes.

The villa is in a quiet location but with easy access to local beaches (approx. 10 min walk) and the centre of Protaras (15 mins) There is a lovely restaurant just down the road, open all day. The main bus route is just a couple of minutes away Would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting this area

We really enjoyed our 2 week stay here. The villa is in a good location for sun & pool. There are some nice quiet beaches locally
