Villa José 1, 12 Pers, Sea View ! Heated pool, Wifi,A/C, petfriendly

The villa was excellent, although same areas like the kitchen were little dated but functional. A big thank you to Isabelle and Jose for making our holiday really special

Reasonable sized bedrooms in the main house with one en-suite bathroom, large kitchen with lounge diner plus two outside tables. The pool area is very well set out with plenty of loungers and a bar/BBQ area. Being May, we paid the extra to have the pool heated which made such a difference. There are two restaurants within walking distance and the one we tried (Table Mountain) was excellent plus there are lots of other restaurants in Comares. We would recommend the Verde Oliva which has lovely views. A great place to enjoy a paella.

In the hills, 5 min walk from 2 ordinary but perfectly ok restaurants. Comares village 30 min walk or 5 min car with several nice restaurants. Pool was heated for our 8 days but was only 24/25, so still nice. We met the owner Jose, very hospitable and helpful !

Jose Villa 1 is located in the most beautiful spot in the mountains of Spain offering remarkable views. Close to Comares which is a beautiful Spanish village with very friendly residents. The villa was very comfortable and José was an amazing property manager….friendly, accommodating, and very quick to respond. We highly recommend this Villa.

Gorgeous house high in the hills. Lovely pool & house well equipped. The 2 restaurants close by were very welcoming with good food. Everything else is a drive away, although regular walkers/ hikers will probably disagree! The Olive Mill in Comares has fantastic food & brilliant staff - I had a medical emergency while there & they were amazing contacting the emergency services - all through Google translate. Our hosts were welcoming & answered messages promptly. Only word of warning is to take note of the instructions given before arrival - they needed at least an hour to prep the house before we could go in, but I called them later than I should, so no blame just information. All in all a wonderful break

Stayed in lots of villas over the years and Jose 1 is right up there with the best. Totally private and not overlooked. Absolutely stunning views. Very steep, but short, driveway from the road is not for the faint hearted - or the infirm if walking.

A stunning property with spectacular scenery. The hamlet next to the villa had two superb restaurants within walking distance. Comares (the most beautiful village in Andalucia) was a short drive or a long pleasant walk away and had a large selection of very good bars and restaurants, plus some friendly local shops. With huge scope for visiting other tremendous locations in the area (e.g.El Chorro and Granada) not to forget the Mediterranean just 30 minutes drive away, we can thoroughly recommend this property.

Villa Jose 1 is perfect place for A big family. With 9 persons is this 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms Home ideal. Aircon for all bedrooms. Nice pool and A quite area. A 40 min drive to the beach, A road with A lot of hairpins, is not so funny for everyone but the views are amazing 😉. We’ve had A great stay! Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay in this spectacular mountain location. The villa itself is nice (e.g. good beds) but nothing special but that's not really the point. The location is amazing with a really nice pool. The service from the owning company was also excellent. They sent lots of really helpful information in advance of our stay, we were greeted on arrival by Isabelle who was very welcoming and provided lots more helpful and interesting information. They were also very responsive when we did have a problem with the villa during our stay. They gave the general impression that they wanted to help us out as much as possible not, like some companies, that we were an inconvenience to them. Very impressed. If i were being hypercritical, some evenings, there was a bit of noise from the bar in the little village at the end of the valley. Nothing really significant just not quite as peaceful as we'd hoped on a couple of evenings.
