It's fish is famous in Portugal for its quality, and the village has great restaurants where you can taste it and eat seafood by the sea.
Sesimbra is also known for his beach, 2 km long with calm and crystalline waters and by its thirteenth-century castle.
10 km away on the coast facing W is Meco beach(my favourite), a wilder beach several kilometers

Stayed Dec 31, 1969It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week since we arrived. Nuno and his wife were lovely and very attentive to our needs, they have given information about the house, the village and the surrounding area and although they live in Lisbon were at our disposal for any question or problem. The house is very nice, traditional decor very elegant and charming. The garden is perfect to relax and have lunch under the palm tree. In addition, the house has everything you need for a perfect holiday, the kitchen is well equipped and the living room is very spacious and comfortable, the rooms are cozy and comfortable too. The location is very good because the house is located at the entrance of the village of Sesimbra and close to the beaches and also near the natural park of arrabida. We highly recommend the house and repeat if we return to Sesimbra.
