Lagoa Albufeira House - with private swimming pool

Our stay was wonderful. All the kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool as well as us adults. Size of villa suited us brilliantly. Lovely beach nearby , around a 10minute walk. Cafe before you get to beach as well with lovely staff, drinks and food. Villa situated not far from other wonderful places. Overall an amazing stay, would highly recommend.

Our recent stay at this lovely house was truly a delightful experience for me and my family. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome that instantly made us feel at home. The owner was friendly, accommodating, and incredibly helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. When we arrived we were surprised with a large welcome basket including fruit, wine, cheese, bread, juice and many other things. More then enough to take us through the first night and the morning after. The house itself was cozy and inviting, providing us with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. We felt right at ease and truly appreciated the care and attention to detail that had been put into making our stay memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene and comfortable retreat. It was a wonderful experience that we will cherish and remember fondly.

For our family (party of 6 adults), this was our first-ever VRBO...and we absolutely LOVED our stay. Sandra, our host, was excellent at answering our questions before we even left home. On the day of arrival, our GPS let us down. But we called and immediately received a pin in WhatsApp, and were able to arrive in minutes. (#protip: Save the location to your GPS.) Upon arrival, Sandra and her daughter, Claudia presented us with Welcome Gifts (personalized cookies!) and basics (ground coffee and filters, for example) that made us feel so at home. The property is well maintained and cared for and was was perfect for our needs, with well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space, while still having common areas where we could visit together after our days touring in-and-around Lisbon. We particularly enjoyed the pool area for relaxing and the Family Room (as we would call it in Canada). Even after our checkout, Claudia was accessible; she helped us via WhatsApp to guide us to great spot for breakfast! All of us agree: We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! We were 11 persons. Plenty of room for us. Nice hosts. The beach 4 km away was fantastic.

We were 3 generations away on vacation. The house is large and lived up to all our expectations. We were 8 people and had rented 2 cars so we could easily get around, which was a big advantage as most things are located some distance from the house. The house is located in a quiet area. We were well received with a basket containing lovely food and drink, although we arrived very late in the evening. We were there for almost 2 weeks so Sandra came and changed towels and bed linen midway. All in all, a really good experience.

This place is amazing! Sandra and her daughter Claudia are such lovely people and made us feel so welcome. It’s the little things that make a perfect holiday experience and Sandra and Claudia provided these. On our arrival they gave us a tour of the property and let us know all we needed too. We even arrived to find a basket of local produce and personalised sweets/candy for the kids. This was such a nice touch and went down really well as we arrived late in the evening with no opportunity to visit the supermarket! The property itself has 5 bedrooms (4 with double beds plus 1 that can be set up with up to 4 single beds). There is plenty of room elsewhere in the property both inside and out. We travelled with 4 adults and 5 children aged 6-12 and there was plenty of room for us all (and always somewhere to hide in a quiet place!) The pool is a good size, well kept and has a shallow and deep end. The kids spent most of the holiday in it! There is a great bbq which we used most nights. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might need and more! It was very hot for some of our trip so the aircon in the bedrooms and living room was amazing! The house is in a quiet residential area. With very little within walking distance (small children’s play area and a local cafe/restaurant). The lagoon is around 30mins to walk, but the road has no pavements so not ideal. Would strongly recommend a hirecar. With this you can reach the main beach and the local town of Alfarim in around 10minutes in each direction. Alfarim is a nice little town/village with cafes, mini marts, a great butchers, fish mongers etc. There are larger supermarkets in Santana (20min drive). The beach and lagoon in Lagoa de Albufeira are amazing! And the beach cafes are great too. Lisbon is around 45min drive (but does take a fair bit longer in rush hour traffic!), so perfect for day trips. We couldn’t be happier with our stay and would strongly recommend. Helpful host, nice preparations. Fast replies on qustions. Peaceful area. So perfect for a larger number of family or relativies come toghether stay.. You must have own or rental car to go to shops or beaches, but they are close

As described and then some as the owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Easily fit our 9 individuals with plenty of space and privacy - could readily accommodate another 3-4 if couples or kids. Well-equipped kitchen and the grilling area ROCKED! Short trip to lisbon for the nightlife, but everything you need within minutes - beach, local stores, cafe, weekend market, etc. Highly recommend as we all had a memorable stay in Lagoa du Albufriere!

A very big, comfortable and modern house. We spent a fantastic time there. The house is completely equiped and has everything to make you feel like home. Everything is nearby (Lisboa, Meco Beach, Cascais, Estoril, Troia...) Thanks to Gilberto and Sandra for their warm welcome.
