VILLA IL CASTELLO: Vibrant Sanctuary of Enchanting Colours. 6 Bedrooms, Private Pool

This villa was simply spectacular. We have traveled the world, and this was by far the best accommodation we have ever stayed. It was a dream come true to spend 12 days here with my family. Everything in the villa has been restored to perfection! We have already recommended this villa to multiple family and friends, who plan on booking it in the future. Hopefully that will give us a discount for our next day! We will be back. Morano the caretaker was simply wonderful. He brought us gifts and shared everything. He knew about the history of the villa. Thank you so much for everything. It was just magical. The only thing I would say to improve our stay, would be more Wi-Fi routers in the house. Or Wi-Fi extenders. And please get new recycling bins inside the house that make it easier to sort the garbages. Other than that, everything was pure perfection.

We had a great 3 nights. The countryside And views are fantastic And the place has great character, if you can take advantage of the offer of a welcome meal, do so. Invino’s food is great and it was a great start to our holiday.

Bedrooms, the staff, the garden

The Villa, the decoration, the linens, the comfort of the rooms, the pool, the outside sitting and dining area. The flowers and herb bushes and lemon trees were spectacular. The day and night view of Lucca was breathless. We were 9 adults with 2 young children and we will all never forget this memorial week at the Villa Castello… Thank-you

This was by far one of the most beautiful places we have stayed at. Unbelievable 360-degree views, incredible amenities. Our group of five was very comfortable but it could have accommodated many more people as well. It may be hundreds of years old but has all of the modern comforts (including excellent A/C and fully outfitted kitchen). There wasn’t a single detail that hadn’t been thought of, and it’s only 20 minutes from the Lucca town center.

The property was just as it was pictured on the web site. Beautiful, on a hill with land and olive trees surrounding the property. Spectacular views of hills and other villas. Main bedroom on second floor needs smoothest working closet doors and a bureau of drawers.

Our multi generational family of 11 had the most amazing stay. From the moment we booked everyone was so helpful in providing recommendations for our trip (wine tours, chefs, etc). Upon arrival Elena was so helpful directing us to the house and walking us through all the details. The house speaks for itself. As stunning as the pictures are, the reality is shockingly even more impressive. Around every corner is another breathtaking vista. We enjoyed many hours in the pool and the house provided the perfect base for our visit to Tuscany! We dream of returning one day! Thank you!

We had a lovely week at Villa il Castello. There were 9 of us in total and there was plenty of space for us all. The villa was stunning, clean and well maintained. Facilities were great and had everything we would need. The 360 views around the villa are breathtaking, we ended up spending so much time outside in the gardens. We also held a small wedding ceremony on one day we were there which the villa team ensured would go smoothly through communication with ourselves and our wedding planner. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

The Villa is just stunning and even more beautiful than on the pictures. We will definitely come back!
