Villa Hibiscus~ Exclusive Villa with Private Pool

The Villa is very clean and spacious with excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. Having water, tea and coffee available immediately was a nice touch. The furniture in the lounge area is very comfortable as are the beds. The bedrooms are downstairs, two en-suite and one with a separate bathroom. This is a double villa with a connecting door. You can definitely hear the neighbours, especially the children but it’s not a problem. No one should have to be quiet on holiday!The Villa is in a beautiful and peaceful location, about a fifteen minute walk uphill to the supermarkets and bars so our car was a definite advantage. A thirty minute walk in the opposite direction takes you to the beach. The major issue we had, and this is due to the area / season and not the Villa, was mosquitoes and apparently Sandflies. We were all badly bitten both whilst around the pool and during the night. Take lots of protection and buy fly spray to blast the rooms in the evening. Unfortunately this spoiled our enjoyment of the pool area but again, it’s an observation and not a criticism.Overall we had a wonderful time, any issues were immediately resolved so critters notwithstanding, 10 / 10.

The villa was very well thought out and set up. A few small issues came up (naturally when you're unfamiliar with the set up) but our host got back to us immediately and were very quick to resolve them. There was a maintenance guy who cleaned and checked the pool daily and always asked if everything is ok? if he saw us. I would definitely recommend this villa and would hope to go back in the future. We were a family of 6 (4 adults - one of which was elderly, 2 kids) and the room accommodation was perfect for our group. 2 ensuite bathrooms and a seperate shower room which the kids used. In terms of access, I would recommend a car if you want to travel the island. The Villa is situated in the North of the Island as we travelled to visit family etc in the south which was aprox 30 mins by car. Parking was always available outside the villa which is a bonus. There is a good supermarket at the top of the Hill which we were constantly using. We would definitely recommend hiring out Villa Hibiscus.

We were provided with clear instructions to reach and enter the villa prior to our departure from home. In addition, any other queries we had were answered quickly and efficiently by Janice and Charmaine. The villa is situated in a quiet residential area down a hillside, alongside a number of other similar villas. It is in a very private setting as it backs above a tree lined road with very little traffic. The main resort is about 5-10 minutes drive away, depending on traffic, and can be accessed going slowly through the town at the top of the hill or more efficiently by main road. There is a large Valyou supermarket 20 minutes walk uphill so would definitely recommend a car if planning to self cater or go out and about much. There are a variety of restaurants beside the shop. The villa is large and spacious, suitable for a family or group of friends. It was spotlessly clean and provided with all modern amenities. It is split level, with bedrooms downstairs. If bringing young kids there was a baby gate attached to the top of the stairs but none at the bottom that I could see, but may be provided if necessary. There are TVs in each room but only several English channels are included in the package, some were suitable for kids. There was also a PlayStation and some board games provided in living room. Wifi coverage was excellent, both inside and out by the pool. Both personal and pool towels were supplied, in addition to a small shower kit which were all refreshed when cleaning was carried out. We would definitely recommend the villa for a quiet relaxing holiday.

I recently stayed at the Hibiscus villa with 6 friends. From start to finish the booking process was really easy and the staff managing the property always responded within a few hours. They were extremely helpful when we asked to add another bed, they allowed us a late check out as no-one was due in immediately after us. The villa itself was really clean, lots of room and the pool space (which we used the most) was really calm and private. The location is about a 15 minute walk to the supermarket and 25 minutes to the small harbour town. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Thank you!

The villa was great. Perfectly placed on the northern end of Malta. Close to the beach, ferry to Gozo and a quick drive to Valletta and all of the great sights to see whilst visiting Malta. The villa has all the amenities needed, updated kitchen, large bedrooms and an amazing pool in the backyard. Highly recommend this villa if you are looking for a nice and relaxing home base when on vacation.

We were very happy with the villa although as we were the first visitors for the season the bedrooms felt slightly damp but we were provided new bedding immediately. Although the property is only about a mile from shops and restaurants it is on a very steep hill so a car would have been an advantage especially for grocery shopping.
