Stayed May 28, 2025We had a wonderful stay at this holiday rental (1 year old) just outside Lyon. The property was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed — from kitchen essentials to extra linens and toiletries. It felt like a true home away from home. The house is modern and equipped with AC units in every single room. The temp went up to high 80s during our stay, the AC was our life-saver.The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, ideal for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. We also loved the convenience — a bakery, grocery store, and several restaurants were just a short walk away (5-10 min), which made meals and errands incredibly easy. There was a spacious parking spot is inside the coded gate, in front of the lodging - essential for us as we travelled by car. We parked our car at parc relais TCL vaulx en velin-la soie and then took Metro to the city of Lyon. Parking was free as long as you bought/used a TLC metro ticket. The best of all is the host Celia. She was friendly and easy to communicate. She and her husband live behind the rental so if we needed anything, she was quick to respond. She welcomed us when she arrived and tour the house with us and suggested restaurants and places to visit in Lyon. She was extremely helpful. Overall, this rental offered the perfect balance of comfort and practicality. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located, fully equipped place to stay near Lyon.
