The place handled 15 adults without any problem. Plenty of space and many spaces to retreat to.

I can’t say enough about this amazing property … everything from the gardens to the architecture to the interior design was stunning. While the location is a bit remote, we found it a delightful location to spend quality time with family and friends. We indulged in a cooking class, making homemade pasta topped off with Tiramisu. Truly one of the most memorable trips our very well traveled family has experienced.

Our family absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful villa in Lucca! It was even more stunning in person than in the photos — professionally decorated, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped with every convenience you could imagine. The attention to detail was incredible, from the high-quality furnishings to the fully stocked kitchen and cozy living areas.We especially enjoyed the pool area — it was private, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We enjoyed several local wineries in the area! There was plenty of room for our entire family to spread out comfortably, yet the home still felt warm and welcoming.Everything about this villa exceeded our expectations. We would happily return and recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-appointed home in a serene setting among the Tuscan hills.

It was well-equipped, felt luxurious and had more than ample space for our group of 18. We had people ranging in age from 4-81 years old and it was ideal for everyone. With multiple indoor communal spaces, the patios and the pool, plus the 7 bedrooms in the main house and 3 in the annex, we had plenty of space to gather (or get some alone time). The AC worked well and the villa remained cool despite fairly warm outdoor temperatures. The dining room is amazing and sat our entire family. We had a chef come in one night and there was plenty of space in the kitchen to prep a multi-course meal without impeding the rest of our family activities (Side note: we LOVED our chef from Tastemotions in Lucca, and highly recommend them, check them out!) . We strongly recommend the villa. The only note I might add (if it's not clear from the photos), is that the pool is a little walk down a hill from the house this did not bother us, but FYI.

The house was clean and beautiful upon arrival. The setting was perfect for our 3 families. The big kids stayed at the hayloft that had all the same amenities and they loved the privacy there. The pool was an added treat during the hot days to relax. We hired a chef to cook a few nights while we enjoyed the outdoor dining and sunset! It was truly a magical stay! Thank you.

The villa matched the description and pictures perfectly, hosts were incredibly proactive and easy to communicate with. The place was absolutely worth the price. Easily the best place we had an opportunity to stay at.

We enjoyed the house very much. Sufficient amount of bedrooms and bathrooms for a group of 20 people and the house has a great kitchen. The property is truly great with a fantastic pool and lovely sitting areas.

The villa holds everything that it promises. The outside area is really beautiful and spacious. Inside, everything is nicely decorated and very clean and all of the seating areas are great for smallerlarger groups. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and all of the appliances work fine. All in all we had an amazing stay in the villa and I can highly recommend it for anyone wanting a refreshing holiday.

Everything was like in the description. The furniture was very tastefull. The kitchen had everything you need. We were 18 persons and had 9 full bathrooms, that was perfect.

Villa Francigena is an amazing place if you’re looking for a quiet and remote place with a beautiful view. Everything was as on the pictures. We had a wonderful week in the house

2 weeks after our return from our stay at Lucca I would like to say thank you for all. We`ve spend a lovely time at your houses and garden. The children had many hours at the very nice pool and we adults enjoyed the nice countryside and towns of tuscany. It was our first time at tuscany countrysi-de- it was all like a big open-air-museum! Hope, that the house was o.K. after our leaving.

The villa was incredible, even better than the pictures. It was perfect for our group of 13! The indoor and outdoor spaces were phenomenal and the view breathtaking. We did not want to leave. Special thank you to the host who was flexible when we were running late to check in due to travel delays! Highly recommend!

Spacious house for big family. The surrounding area was amazing with the views. Modern conveniences but still has the charm of its past. The road up the drive could be smoother. Difficult situation with the trash if you don’t have a car. All minor suggestions for an otherwise perfect place.
