This appartment has a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. It has a beautiful terrace and it is very nice that there is a fence. It’s is big enough for a small family but a bit more cutterly and glasses would be nice otherwise you are washing up right after every meal. The hosts are very friendly!!

Oreste and Veronica are gracious hosts with a warm and comfortable home in Vercana. The home is as-presented except that the pergola on the patio is now beautifully covered with jasmine, not the wicker shade. Good for families with a 2nd bedroom with bunkbeds & full-sized bed. Master bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed and a window with that amazing view. Plenty of clothing storage for longer stays. Patio area is sturdily fenced with a self-locking gate (safe for children); soft, real grass (not astro-turf); a small garden plot with ornamental plants; rosemary for cooking. Outdoor dining table comfortable for 4-6 persons. Shower large enough for 2 people or an adult + child for getting the little-ones bathed – also comfortable for larger guests. Plenty of hot water. Good kitchen to cook in. No ice-maker that we saw and little room for ice trays in the freezer. Ask the owners about this – they may have a solution. Care has been taken to ensure a comfortable and stylish stay. Garage is good for smallish vehicles. Discuss parking needs for groups (4-6?) requiring larger vehicles. Fairly level entry & exit to garage - important for cars w/standard transmission. Our favorite time of day was morning coffee or evening cocktails outside with that magnificent view during the chiming of the church bells, which start nearby and continue sequentially down the lake valley, creating a peaceful and melodious moment that was charming and romantic. The view from this apartment is just stunning. The place is very comfortable and spacious. The place have everything you need, and if you enjoy exploring the beauty of lake como then is well situated. Oreste is a good host and very responsive. We can only recommend staying here!

This apartment has one of the best views over the lake. Just stunning. Overall the apartment has what you need and the owners are available if you need anything. You would need a car here, however if you don't mind a hilly walk it is easy enough to walk down to the lake and restaurants but you would need some fitness! I can't recommend this place enough. If I am just being picky then the one thing that was frustrating was the internet. It is not consistent and we struggled to even listen to the radio let alone do any work. If this can be rectified this place would be 5+ stars! Super value for money and would have no hesitation staying here again.

The house lies above Domaso and has a spactaculair view over lake Como. in a very nice private environment. The house is built in a local modern archtecture with modern facilities (WIFI Internet) It has a lovely garden and a very nice terrace with sunbeds and a table and chairs for an outside breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is no traffic. The house is comfortable with a nice big living room and a separate sleeping room and bathroom The beds and matrassses are great. Bed and kitchen linen are provided for.The house is nice and cool inside.The family lives at the first floor and is very kind and helpful. I can recommend this house to anyone. Fam. We had high expectations for our two-week holidays at Lago di Como, but we had not foreseen such a perfect place. Vercana is a delightful village in the mountains near the north end of the lake, where the landscape is at its most beautiful and impressive. We found ourselves in a beautiful stone house with a stunning view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The rented floor is huge, very well equipped (including a gas stove and a huge electric oven for potential cooks!), and one can have dinner outside in the garden most of the nights (the weather was fantastic most of the time). The house is in a dead end at the outskirts of the village, so there is a lot of green around it and it is really very quiet. It is important to have a car, but the beaches of Domaso are just 3 km away (and the water is warm enough!). Vercana is also a good departure point for some nice walks in the mountains. Last but not least, you will have the perfect hosts: Oreste, Veronica and their children will make your stay the most enjoyable. This place is a jewel.
