Stayed Oct 3, 2019Fabulous place with stunning views over Sorrento . 20-30 minute walk down hill to centre. The Host Maria was very attentive and helpful . Maria’s restaurant recommendations were spot on and she reserved trips , transfers from airport and a food delivery for our arrival . Fabulous holiday with friends

Stayed Sep 2, 2019We absolutely loved our time at Villa Di Nola. The villa is stunning, and the views are breathtaking. Maria is a gracious, wonderful host and made our stay so comfortable. She was very communicative and welcoming. Our original accommodation cancelled on us last-minute, and we are so grateful for Maria — she saved our vacation, and even had fresh fruit, coffee and water waiting for us upon arrival! The only thing to note is that the villa is in more of a remote area, so if you’re planning on touring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast, be strategic about your transportation, as taking taxis can add up quickly in this area. It’s a nice stroll down the hill, but walking back up from town is challenging. There is a delicious cappuccino waiting for you at the bottom if you are willing to do the walk, though! We can’t recommend Maria or Villa Di Nola enough, and will forever cherish our memories of our stay. Thank you, Maria!

Stayed Sep 22, 2017We totally enjoyed our stay at Villa Di Nola. The property is located next to a path that takes you right into town. This walk takes 20-30 minutes and is lovely. We did walk home one day and it was up hill...we made it but I would recommend the bus which leaves every 30 minutes from the train station. You can also arrange for transport with the hotel across the way. The property was immaculate and the view was sensational. The second bedroom can be a bit noisy if there are guest next door. We would definitely return!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969For those interested: 1. Maria is a very nice hostess. She and her family own the Villa. It was the family summer cottage. It is made up with 2 apartments on the second floor. 2. The first floor is undergoing renovations (not when we stayed). We rented the larger 2 BR for 1 week. The adjoining 1 BR is separated by one locked door and provides poor sound privacy. Many different guests stayed for a couple nights during the week. 3. Everything worked well except it takes a very long time to get hot water. The fridge/freezer is way too cold even after adjusting it... It froze vodka. 4. The locking front gate lock needs to be fixed as it takes a minute to finally lock/unlock. 5. It's noisey. The hotel buses for their guests park right beside the villa and the drivers leave their diesel engines running. The main road is well travelled and within 50 meters. There is a narrow track road even closer that most scooters and motorcycles use as a short cut. There is constant beeping of their horns coming around corners. The view from the villa is great overlooking Sorrento. It's a good location to explore the Amalfi coast. Think about hiring a taxi... best way to go. We rented a car to get around the Sorrento Peninsula, Pompeii, and town.

Stayed May 18, 2017My family and I stayed at this lovely villa for 3 nights. I now wish I could have stayed there longer to it enjoy it more. The villa is on a hill side about a 10 minute drive from Sorrento's city center. There is a bus stop right across the street that takes you down to the city, but we never used it since we had a rental car. Our villa was amazing and was very central to visit the Amalfi Coast. The entire villa was very bright and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well-equipped, but we only used it at breakfast time. We sat in our balcony to have breakfast and enjoy the beautiful views. The bathroom was very clean and we had plenty of towels. The unit has a/c, but we barely used it since it was cool at night. It had a washer which we used. The wifi worked very well. The property was very secure and we felt very safe there. It's a little noisy since the road is close to the villa, but it did not bother us at all and once the windows were closed you could not tell. Maria, the owner, met us at the villa and showed us how to operate everything. She recommended a few good places to eat. We tried Ristorante Il Borgo which had excellent food and service (highly recommend it). Oh, and the view was amazing. Parking at the restaurant was very scarce so Maria made arrangements for us to be picked up. I definitely plan to stay here again when I come back to Sorrento. Next time, though, I will have more time to enjoy this beautiful area.

Stayed Apr 9, 2017Had very good experience. Villa Nola was very clean and in a good location, away from the noise of downtown. We struggle with the stove. The pilot didn't work most of the time. In general we had a great time.

Stayed Oct 1, 2016Fantastic stay in this beautiful villa looking the waterfront of Sorrento !!! Impeccable view in this spacious 2 bedroom villa. Maria (the owner) was friendly and informative. Extremely neat. Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again. The property is well situated with gated private parking. Beautiful terrace for breakfast or a glass of wine at end of the day.
