Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Vittoria is located in the centre of Sorrento - just a few minutes walk to the main square, Piazza Tasso. This was exactly what we were looking for as we didn't want to hire a car and it is a short distance from San Francesco cloisters where we are getting married next year. We stayed here so we could plan our wedding and we have already booked for us and our family to stay here next year. This villa is of a very high standard. If you want quality - this is the property for you. It is beautiful, clean and luxurious and will take your breath away. The local property manager organised an Italian-style gourmet meal for us too - it was delicious.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our group of 9 including 2 small children stayed at the villa for 10 days. The location is great, walking distance to shopping, grocery stores, beach and restaurants. The home is well equipped and the maid arrived promptly every day to clean and tidy up after us which was wonderful. We loved lounging by the pool and sitting out on the upper terraces in the evening looking out over Sorrento. I would highly recommend this villa and the great service we received was impressive.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The villa was better than the beautiful pictures we saw online. The location was ideal, we walked into town daily. The pool was an added bonus. Everything was immaculate. It was great having a kitchen and a washing machine. We truly felt at home. I recommend this villa to anyone who wants to be in close proximity to Sorrento's center, shopping , restaurants and bars. UNFORGETABLE!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Vittoria was beautiful and very conveniently situated for Sorrento town centre with everything within easy walking distance. This was a huge advantage. The villa itself had everything we needed - nice rooms with lovely terraces or balconies - and a fabulous pool. Louisa, who came in to keep everything clean and tidy every day was a real star and Carmine from Naples Villas was excellent - organising first class trips and great restaurant recommendations.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our stay at Villa Vittoria in beautiful Sorrento was fantastic! The home is lovely and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The service received by Carmine who took amazing care of us was exceptional. He was very accommodating and helpful with whatever we needed. Carmine also cooked an unbelievable meal for our family in the villa one evening. One of the best meals we had our entire vacation! I didn't even know I liked eggplant until I tried his eggplant parmesan! Yum! I would highly recommend Villa Vittoria. It is within walking distance to everything you might need and the service is outstanding!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our week at Villa Vittoria was almost perfect - it's just the right place to celebrate a landmark birthday with friends and family. The villa is located in a reasonably quiet street only five minutes walk from the shops and main streets and 10 - 15 minutes walk from the station, so there's no need to hire a car. There was ample space for the nine of us (spread over six bedrooms) in the villa, with a roomy well-kitted kitchen, amazingly long dining table, indoor sitting area and, best of all, lots of different sitting areas outside, mostly with shade if required. The curvy swimming pool was great! The owner Vittoria met us on arrival and showed us how to make use of all the facilities, and we were introduced to her friendly cleaner Lucia who provided the daily cleaning service. The couple of minor problems we had during the visit were sorted out within minutes. Naples Villas' local property manager Carmine looked after us unbelievably well during our stay. He was there to greet us and to make sure we both knew exactly what the arrangements were for the week. We had asked in advance for trips to Capri and the Amalfi coast and a wine-tasting to be organised; he appeared each day just before we set off to check that the minibus or taxis were there, etc. He also organised a fantastic in-house chef to provide an amazing birthday meal for us - and turned up to do some of the cooking himself! All the arrangements worked like clockwork, and only the weather let us down a little on the day we went to Capri - and then I was kicking myself for not having taken Carmine's advice three days earlier to bring the boat trip forward... We visited Pompeii and Herculaneum; the Amalfi coast by minibus, stopping in Positano, Amalfi (superb lunch at the Marina Grande restaurant on the seafront) and Ravello (unbelievable scenery); a winery in the Vesuvian hills where the lunch they served was amazingly good, the wine and food produced using organic farming methods; and Capri, where a visit to Tiberius's villa 2km from Capri town is a must, and where we also persuaded a restaurant (E'Divino) to open up just to give us a late lunch - another spectacular meal). When not actively sight-seeing we wandered happily around Sorrento or sat reading and relaxing in Villa Vittoria's beautiful outdoor area. We had excellent takeaway pizzas from the bowling alley next door, and ate well at Il Leone Rosso and Aurora Light in Sorrento. It was an unforgettable trip!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our first trip to Italy. Traveling with my mom (she is 82 years young), I was nervous. I wanted to know that assistance was readily available if needed. I couldn't have chosen better than Villa Vittoria! We opted for airport pick-up in Naples, Rosy sent a car. The driver was helpful, friendly, informative. Rosy greeted us with a warm welcome. Our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Every morning began with warm delicious homemade croissants, fruit, juices and hot beverages. We sat on the porch or by the pool and talked with Rosy and Vittoria and other guests about our day and our plans. We did our laundry and hung it out to dry. We felt, not just welcome, but like favourite family coming for a visit! Staying here was an outstanding way to begin our visit to Italy! We walked where ever we wanted to go from here-the train station (but not with luggage!), the piazza, the lemon grove. And from the pool area I could only just see the tops of the lounge chairs at the Hilton, otherwise I never would have known it was there. Villa Vittoria is a treasure! Rosy and Vittoria made it so.
