Villa Desire is a gorgeous villa perched on the hillside over the gulf of Salo, with stunning lake views. The villa has a large private pool (11m x 6m) immersed in a 7000 sqm private park of olive groves, meadows and woods. The villa was designed to enjoy the view of the Gulf of Salò, has a large living room with high wooden ceilings and windows with breathtaking views, three of the bedrooms have windows with lake views, new swimming pool surrounded by a well-kept garden. - Bedrooms: Sleeps 13 in 5 bedrooms: On the main floor the bedrooms have air conditioning, a magnificent lake view, direct access to the terrace and garden, there are two double bedrooms and a family room with a double bed and a bunk bed, on the lower floor a double bedroom and a bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk bed.
- Bathrooms: 3 bathrooms, new and with high quality finishes. On the main floor two bathrooms with wonderful and spacious showers with marble coverings and glass doors. Third bathroom on the lower floor complete with shower stall also for laundry use because it is equipped with a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
- Kitchen: Large new kitchen with all major and minor appliances, including fireplace, dishwwith HDMI and USB conneasher, microwave, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. Kitchen table seats 8-10.
- Indoor dining / lounge area: Large dining room and a lounge area surrounded by panoramic windows. The dining area has space for up to 10 people, Chesterfield sofas and armchairs for 7-8 people. The ceilings are high with exposed fine wood paneling, antique piano and valuable period objects.
- Outdoor dining: The panoramic terrace communicating with the living room furnished with an outdoor dining table for 12 people with a splendid lake view. In the garden barbecue area with gazebo with table for 10.
- Pool: Private pool, 11x6m, fully furnished with deck chairs, sun loungers and umbrellas. Pool fenced for child safety.

A wonderful place for a vacation, Salò is the perfect balance between a small village and a city. It has quaint cobblestone streets and beautiful old world architecture, with everything within walking distance. And it also has all the amenities and entertainment you would expect in a city, including a theater, museum, historical attractions, restaurants, bars, shops and super-markets and more. Its lakeside promenade is claimed to be the longest in Italy, and you can walk along the lake with beaches on one side and cafes, restaurants, bars and delightful little shops.

Stayed Jul 5, 2025The villa was really special. The swimming pool and views over the lake and mountains are truly fabulous. The place has several different locations in which to sit down at large tables for a shared meal which was excellent. Also, we highly recommend Novella and the team at Holiday Garda who were very helpful in helping us with the booking. For such a high-end property the wi-fi service is absolutely dreadful. We strongly recommend that a higher speed service is provided. Also, the grand piano is badly in need of a tune-up.

Stayed Jul 22, 2023You’ll need a car to visit Salo (which is a very cute town) but the location of the house is fantastic, with a great view. The villa is also well kept, well equipped and has a nice pool. We also appreciated the grocery shopping service and the nice welcome gift (fantastic local oil and wine). Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Villa Desire is beautiful - stunning views, really well equipped, very clean. It is bright and airy. The pool is large with very comfortable sunloungers. The location is quiet and well maintained. We had a fantastic week. You do however need a car - it is a brisk 30 min walk to Salo, along busy roads, and hills! We had teenagers with us, and they would have preferred somewhere closer to the town. However, if you are looking for a relaxing week in a gorgeous villa, with stunning views, this is for you. Nothing.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The view from this property was breathtaking. It was very large and accommodated our family very well. The pool area was beautiful, the Villa was sparkling clean when we arrived. The service we received when booking taxi's and trips was amazing from Novella.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969- die Lage auf dem Hügel mit Blick über Saló ist einmalig - der Pool ist sensationell - der Freisitz ist perfekt - sehr schöne Schlafzimmer und Bäder - idealer Grillplatz - sehr gut ausgestattete Küche -der Gärtner könnte am Abreisetag eine Stude später kommen, denn es wirkt wie ein Rauswurf
