Stayed Oct 24, 2019In preparation to our arrival Davide and his associates always replied very quickly and clear. The house was very neat upon arrival, jacuzzi’s and pool were heated and the view... was exceptional. Looking at the Vesuvius from the infinity pool is a truly remarkable experience. During the weekend, Davide was always reachable if we had any questions. I can recommend Villa Davide to anyone looking to have a memorable holiday with family or friends.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969walking through the gate for the first time opened up the wonderful vista of Sorrento and Naples Bay. A view that changed from the first morning light to the close of the day. The views, were, spectacular. The Villa echoed the photographs and Davide our host couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming. The Villa’s facilities were excellent, a great kitchen, BBQ living spaces both indoor and outdoor accommodated our family with a range of seating areas again that gave different views of the landscape below. The pool, of course was the greatest wow factor. The children and adults enjoyed the infinity pool from morning noon and night. We didn’t hire a car, perhaps we should, but our taxi driver Alfredo who was recommended to us by Davide was perfect, reliable and again friendly and welcoming. It was a perfect week and stay for us and our family at the wedding and is definitely a must stay place to be.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Fantastic stay at Villa Davide with family for our Daughters wedding in Sorrento. We could not have been made to feel more welcome by Davide who was extremely accommodating making our stay stay more enjoyable and trouble free. Davide was more than willing to help with excursions, shopping and was on hand 24/7 for any issues with the villa making our stay more relaxing. The views from the villa are spectacular, just amazing. The villa itself lived up to our high expectations and was just perfect for our party of 12. We would recommend hiring a car, bus stop is close but bus tickets needed from shop within a short walking distance and road not ideal to walk on as no footpath. Thankyou Davide for making our stay at Villa Davide so enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969There is always an element of doubt when buying from the internet. With holidays doubly so and I must admit that arriving at villa davide, I wondered if reality could live up to the pictures on the website. I was completely and wonderfully wrong. The villa matched and surpassed our wildest dreams. The stunning Sorrento vista proved the perfect backdrop for breakfast al fresco, lunch on the terrace, and barbecues for tea. The pool was lovely and hot tub devine! The villa is rather out the way yes, but how else do you get that fabulous view? We found the apartments clean, and Davide our guide couldn't have been more helpful. Special mention must also go to chef Carmine. He told us before our meal that we were about to have the finest dinner we would have in italy. Privately I had my doubts. And again I was wrong. Bravissimo Carmine!! And thank you Ricardo for allowing us to share your private slice of paradise. I hope to return some day. Paul Gallacher

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The Villa David is located in one of the mountains in Sorrento – across the gulf you can clearly see Mt. Vesuvius. There is about a 10 – 15 minute ride into the city center of Sorrento. You will need to either rent a car (if you are brave) or get a driver to get into town. You cannot walk this route. We had a group of 8 adults stay at the Villa for the week. We all agreed the outside areas (pool, decks, hot tub) are our favorite part of our stay. We were able to relax as a group and take in the views. The rooms are all accommodating with the “master suite” having a view of the water. There are plenty of bathrooms. The cottage fits two rooms and two bathrooms with a ton of space. We were able to arrange to have groceries delivered when we arrived. There are some items to note when renting this villa: 1. There is another tenant on property, possibly the owner. Our outing was a group of friends, so there was no need for privacy. However, there were several times when other parties were being shown the property (not the inside, just the outside) and various repairs outside were being done. In the instances we were at the villa for the day, we were asked if it was ok for repairs to be done before the person come on property. Also, the tenant's dogs twice got into the villa through open doors and woke up the occupants of the house. If privacy is not an issue then having the owner so close was very convenient when we had trouble with some of the appliances – he was there within minutes. 2. There was a mold problem in the cottage (not the main house) and it had a musty smell. If you don't use the cottage - this won't be an issue. There was an ant epidemic one day. The ants were sprayed for immediately after we notified the owner and the mold/ants probably are due course when living in a mountain – but be aware when leaving food in the kitchen or if anyone has a mold allergy. 3. There is a very active event venue right next door. The week we stayed at the villa, we had a few weddings and a birthday party right next door. If you are looking for quiet at night – this may disturb you. We just drank more wine and enjoyed the music, it was not a problem. Overall, the view this villa offers and the multiple meeting places for large groups highly outweighed any of the noted items above. We’d recommend the Villa.
