Villa Camilla, Olhos de Agua

A great location, the correspondence with the host was excellent. The property has some issues that need addressing

Host sent communication in good time, however the villa is perfect for a group trip, down the road from a quiet beach and 7 mins drive out of the main Albufeira strip. We had a group of 11 and it was perfect, enough space for us all. Would recommend to anyone with similar numbers or even slightly higher.

Villa looks exactly like the photos. The villa is great for big groups, super spacious and lots of bathrooms which was really useful. Slightly issues with the drainage of the showers but nothing major. Also make sure to close doors/ windows otherwise you'll have bugs to deal with but otherwise a great stay all round!

Property met our needs in terms of space and general condition of the property. Main problem was the ant infestation that plagues the property, we used ant repellent daily and kept all food sources packed away which reduced the problem but the ants were still around. Not sure what can be done about this. Some of the furniture could do with updating, the beds were comfortable and the A/C just about did its job keeping the place cool. Another minor problem was the parking outside the property which is almost always taken by other people visiting the area, free car park is about 5 to 8 minutes walk away. Overall enjoyed our stay aside from these issues.

Just had an unbelievable stay at Villa Camilla. Spent 4 nights here for my stag do with 14 other guests and it was brilliant. The location of the villa isnt the most liveliest but still great right near the beach so many bars, restaurants, shops and cafes. The Cafe underneath the villa is lovely. We used the local taxis and Ubers every day and they was very cheap and the new town and old town are only around 5-10 minute drives away. Jim was a brilliant host, great communication and sorted us transport to and from the airport. The only negatives I have was that there was a few minor furniture issues with the villa which for us wasn’t a huge problem and when you have a shower the bathroom floor floods. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Check in was easy, cleaners were still there when we arrived which was later than the allowed check-in time. We just went to the beach so not such a big deal. A lot of the villa is run down, doors don’t close, showers flood the bathroom floor, the bed headboards are not attached to the walls so people had to move the bed away from the wall because it was noisy. The presentation of the villa wasn’t like how it was shown on the pictures. Not sure if the cleaners felt rushed or not. The speaker that they have listed on their amenities list doesn’t work. But all in all, we had a great time, the local shops and beach are literally on the doorstep and ubers are very cheap to get around. We were allowed a very generous late check out which was great! The host Jim was very easy to talk to and ordered airport transfers etc very quickly.

We booked this villa for a weeks stay in may 2025, we were very disappointed from the first minute we saw the property, the outside was shabby with broken steps and green mould on the walls. Inside the kitchen had no basic necessities ie tea towel, dish cloth, bin liners,washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets. No shelf in the oven. In every bathroom there was water damage to every sink cabinet, the shower head in one bathroom didn't work at all, no shampoo or body wash provided. All the toilet seats were loose. No mirrors in any bedrooms, every bed head was loose and not attached to the wall.Very few coat hangers, broken hair dryer.Some bedroom doors didn't close and lockGames room was damp and musty, lights not working, cues with no tips .Pool was dirty hadn't been cleaned. BBQ was old and rusty, far to small for a large group. THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT EXCEPTIONAL AS ADVERTISED, FEEL LIKE WE WERE MISS SOLD.

Perfect location, size and has everything you need, great communication throughout

The property was great, location was fantastic, everything about it was perfect for our stay. Jim was a fantastic host, cant thank him enough, communication was 100%, on hand all the way through to answer any questions. He also sorted our transfers to and from airport and again completely flawless service.

Great property, great communication from the host and quick response when we had an issue with an external door not locking - a man was round to fix it within the hour.Perfect location for local bars and restaurants, minutes from the sea and a little supermarket close by. We used taxis to get into Albufeira, very reasonably priced The host also arranged our transfers, super convenient and also reasonably priced.Overall, despite the national blackout affecting the whole country for a day, we had a great stay. The key areas of the apartment including the kitchen, dining room and bedrooms were clean and well maintained. The social spaces were very enjoyable for a group of friends.There were some minor challenges regarding the hosts responsiveness in the days leading up to the booking and with some areas of the property being a bit more worn down, but overall it was great for what we needed.

Very happy with the property overall, it was spacious and big enough to house all of us. However a few of the doors didn’t lock which was a bit concerning. The showers are great and powerful however they are wet rooms and do tend to be slippy, so be careful.Jim was great, friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Location to the tournament venue was fantastic. Great place for a large group and close to the ocean! Missing a lot of amenities though. No face cloths, no hangars to hang clothes anywhere, no garbage bags, no laundry detergent and only 5 dishwasher tabs for 18 people for 9 days. There were a lot of drainage issues. The showers didn’t drain and the front of the building flooded when we had rain.Some instructions on how to use the oven would be great. We were unable to work it for our entire stay, not sure if it is broken or if we just couldn’t figure it out. We had to ask for extra towels and blankets to be dropped off as there were no extras.

Great location and perfect for groups!

Pros: Was great Villa and Jim communicated perfectly with us before and during the trip. Group of 12 friends so great size of Villa and fantastic location close to beach. 2 min walk. Cons: Pool was cold Several ants all around and management never came to fix this. Was quite annoying Lots of stairs to reach the villa so be prepared to lift your luggage

14 of us stayed here for a hen party, very spacious and plenty of rooms/bathrooms -Jim was very helpful and easy to communicate with! Would 100% stay again

House full of ants, the oven doesn't work, controls without batteries, damaged pool cues, horrible smell in the kitchen, cold water during baths, pool in the shade, bedrooms and bathrooms without keys, the bathroom was flooded after hours. baths, no toilet paper in the bathrooms, rooms without curtains, the house does not match the photos
