Villa Barlavento - fabulous villa with private tennis court

The house and garden are spacious, nice swimming pool and the tennis yard is a plus. All agreements were timely in order. Communication was swift. The child chair was not present but was brought immediately after informing Elite. Making sure that the ordered items are present upon arrival (child high chair). Rental price high chair/baby cot is too high.

- size of bed rooms - presence of games - tennis court - presence of fitness equipment (hidden) - size of the garden - quick responsiveness - big american fridge - air-conditioning - smart TV - parking space - great living - more explanation on how to use TV / Sonos - indication about the fitness equipment, which we only discovered by coincidence - indication on website of board games - two bedrooms had to share one bathroom

Place was absolutely gorgeous and the lovely swimming pool is a major distraction from the nearby beaches. I haven’t felt on holidays as much as I did in this place in many years!

Location superb with very quiet roads and surroundings. Response from team to shutter repair and help with alarm very quick and helpful. Outdoor space was excellent, well maintained as was the pool. The Villa file is dated and needs updating. Eg instructions for using TV etc But otherwise difficult to find fault! Perhaps some of inside could be refreshed/updated over time.

Great villa that ticks loads of boxes. We’ve been visiting the area for years and this is a great villa for families or a big group and we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. Thanks

We have been visiting Carvoeiro for many years and stayed in many villas in the area. Barvalenta was lovely, very spacious, great pool and gardens and good location, we would definitely look to book again. From the villa a charcoal bbq would be great rather than a gas! Otherwise the villa was great. Some feedback for the rental company- I had discussed the use of highchair and cot and we ended up not hiring as the cost was not justifiable. I’ve never had to pay to use a cot nor high chair nor have any friends, especially at that price so I wasn’t impressed, however when we met the rep and the cleaning staff they were all lovely and very helpful and I had no issues.

Beautiful villa in a peaceful location, 5 mins drive to carvoeiro. We didn't have a car so used uber or taxis which came within minutes of booking.

Very disappointing. Tennis court unusable (main reason for booking) only 3 bathrooms not 4 as advertised. Pool edging uneven and broken. Pretty garden the only positive.
