The location is ideal - just a short walk to the beach and private enough to feel secluded.Special thanks to Maura the concierge who arranged transportation and activities for us. Stayed Feb 13, 2025Classic Architecture, design, and layout of Villa Antigua is elegantly unique, well-maintained, and comfortable. We were 9 people (6 adults & 3 children). Very clean and well-appointed with quality beds and linens. Well-stocked kitchen.Location was just one block from the beach in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Pool was great and pool table was a favorite past-time for all. Jaco Main St. shops and restaurants were within 15 minute walking distance.24-hr on-site security was a huge plus. The guards were also very attentive if we needed anything. Housekeeping and management were very professional and accommodating.We would go back in a heartbeat.

Stayed Dec 22, 2023Our family of eleven, ranging in age from 4 to 80, found this villa very comfortable and conducive to lots of family fun and interaction. Three families found their space for quiet times yet the openness and the sheltered pool brought everyone together. Maura was extremely helpful and her staff was friendly and professional. Two meals by Chef Pablo were superb. There was three well protected parking places with 24 hour security, while the beach was just a three minute walk. We found the town of Jaco was easily walked to from the villa, yet we were far enough from the crowds in town and on the beach. We highly recommend you consider staying in this one of kind villa in this location.

Stayed Dec 3, 2023This house is amazing! We all felt like we were living in a castle. The staff was great to have around, they were all very helpful. Maura the house manager was very responsive and saved us from a possible disaster by tracking down a taxi cab that one of us left our wallet in. Over all wonderful experience!

Stayed Nov 13, 2023I went to Costa Rica to celebrate my 60th birthday with my sisters and niece. The host, Maura, was absolutely wonderful. She helped me plan all of our activities and even called the restaurants when we wanted to stay in for take away. She was very responsive, answering texts within minutes. She even arranged to have a birthday cake with balloons and decorations on my birthday!! She made sure everything with our stay went smoothly. The home and grounds are simply beautiful. They look even better in person! Both are very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The country is beautiful. I was very impressed with everything and I want to say thank you again to Maura and her staff!!

Stayed Jun 17, 2023The property, Maura, and her staff exceeded all of our expectations. We felt like royalty. Your hard work and dedication made our visit to Costa Rica a great success. And was greatly appreciated. The location was excellent, on the south end of Jaco, with a short walk to the beach and a short drive to restaurants and everything else we wanted to experience. Stayed Sep 12, 2022AC unit in the bedrooms, kitchen and the TV/couch area. Excellent management that helped with anything I needed (rental car, shuttle, etc.). Just a few houses from the beach (like 30-60 seconds on foot). Stayed here with friends and family, and then a few nights on my own. If you're in Jaco, I would highly recommend this place.
