Stayed Mar 6, 2023We couldn’t have asked for a better home to spend our week in Guadeloupe. If this home is still available, book it now. You won’t regret it. Home: The indoor/ outdoor open layout of the home was the perfect way to enjoy the sun. The house is up on a hill with a perfect view of the lush green fields. Our favorite part of the day was waking up early and sitting in the hammock as the sun came up. The pool was immaculate and the perfect temperature. The wrap around porch created such an open environment and every room had access to the cool breeze. The home had a nice backyard to enjoy the sunset. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed having three full bathrooms. Area: The home is just a short ten minute drive to several beaches, although we never wanted to leave the house. Grocery store was also a short drive away. Great location! Hospitality: Cathi was the most amazing host. You could tell everything was prepared with so much attention to detail and love. We were greeted with fresh fruit, local rum, jam and bread, milk, all the staples that we didn’t have to worry about. The kitchen was well-stocked and we were able to cook the whole week. We forgot to pack a couple essentials like an international outlet adapter and she came right away with one. Cathi was always available and her generosity and anticipation of our needs made the stay so relaxing. Hope to come back again and again!
