This property is amazing. Wonderful spaces, a pool table, a swimming pool with all what you need to have a great afternoon as you do a barbecue... It´s peaceful and relaxing! Canot wait for next year!

We really enjoyed our family holiday at Horta do Limão. The house is big, and equipped with everything needed. We made home made pizzas in the outside area which was great fun. The pool is nice and big for everyone. There are two tables outside where you can enjoy meals. Theres a snocker table which we enjoyed and played quite a lot. Communication with the owner was great! Recommended!

There are so many excellent things to say about Horta do Limao ('Lemon Orchard'). Communication with the owner, Francisco, was easy and he always responded quickly. We were well looked after during our stay by Pedro and the team with bi-weekly house cleans and pool maintenance. Horta do Limao is a lovely house in a great location. It's a short drive from Faro airport and within easy distance of many lovely Algarvian beaches and towns - we even drove to Seville for the day (park at the San Juan Bajo station and ride into the city on the Metro to avoid city centre parking madness). We'd also recommend the trip up to Alcoutim for the zip wire, the lovely views and local food. It's an easy walk to Moncarapacho for a meal out or groceries and the freshest doughnuts are just a km away at Bolinhas dos Carlos. The nearest big supermarkets are in Olhao. The Algarve is such a great location for walking and cycling with loads of routes nearby. The house itself has plenty to keep you entertained - a generous sized pool, table tennis and pool table with plenty of space inside and out for lounging, relaxing or just enjoying the view (there's a big telly as well be we didn't use it once!). There's a basic kitchen with a big fridge/freezer as well as a pizza oven and BBQ outside. The bedrooms are all lovely - one en suite and one master bathroom with an outside loo as well. The towels and linens got changed several times during our 10 day stay. Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay in Horta do Limao and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy the delights of the Algarve away from the madness of the resorts but within easy reach of everything you need for a great holiday.
