Villa 314 Family Holiday Villa w/Pool and Tennis

Brilliant facilities, including indoor games room (with pool, table tennis and football memorabilia) outdoor pool, gym, tennis courts and soccer field (with rackets, balls and other equipment provided). 5 spacious double bedrooms (4 ensuites), all with AC and plenty of plugs. Multiple communal areas, both inside and out. Large fridge dispensing chilled water and ice. Utility room for washing/drying clothes an added bonus. Towels provided. Property gated for extra security. Villa located in Esposende, a 30 minute drive from Porto and Braga, and a 10 minute drive or 1 hour walk from the beach in Esposende. There is a small supermarket, a bank and a bakery around the corner and a large supermarket within a 5 minute drive/15 minute walk. Our host was friendly and flexible, always on hand to help and kind enough to allow a late check-out. Couldn't ask for more! Occasional smell due to neighbouring farmland didn't bother us. Pool not heated and cold in late September (but totally bearable for Brits). Location is reasonably remote so best to pre-book taxis/Ubers to avoid delays.

Set in a peaceful location, close to the beach, excellent facilities with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms for all, a great swimming pool and games activities ( both indoor and outdoor). Any ( minor) issues were quickly resolved and communication was excellent. We found the outside barbeque easy to light but difficult to get going.

The house was luxurious with many bed and bath rooms, necessary for senior citizens. Kitchen was well equipped. What was not available immediately was brought by the very helpful patron. His instructions and advise were welcomed, as well. Many thanks! The situation of the house was in the middle of small village with a small shop around the corner and a larger one two km away. The town Esposende with wider shopping and restaurant services was not very far either, just some ten minutes drive from the house. A most beautiful parts and attractions of northern Portugal were near by in the reach of an hour or two. There was only one minor thing to be dissatisfied with: The house was near or in the middle of agriculture area, poultry and pigs (?) etc. Due to that there was a slight smell of manure in the air all the time (not so disturbing!). More disturbing was the multitude of flies which prevented us to enjoy meals outdoors. However, the overall impression was excellent. We enjoyed! With thankful regards Jussi Ravela

Worked very well for us with enough space for everyone in our blend of three families. Main rooms are big enough for everyone together but there are plenty of other places to be apart.

We had a great time with two families with little kids! The villa is one big playground! Also for the adults! Tennis, swim, football, snooker, table tennis.... and surfing the waves in Esposende; Made it a fantastic holliday!

A truly superb property. Very spacious and very clean and tidy and topped off with a private pool for our use. The games room was and added feature that was used almost non-stop by the 'big kids' in our party. The villa owner went 'above and beyond' to help us when one of our party had a medical emergency during our stay, volunteering to act as taxi and interpreter and to help source best hospital for treatment. Cannot thank them enough. Would definitely recommend a stay here

The property is amazing, and the photos on the site somehow don't manage to do it justice. The rooms are all a really good size, well equipped and spotless. The outside eating space with BBQ is lovely and pool is fab. There were 6 of us staying in the villa and there was plenty of space so you didn't feel like you were tripping over each other. The football pitch, tennis court and games room were an added bonus and provided lots of entertainment. There are also some great running and walking routes from the villa, particularly along the boardwalk through the local nature reserve. Loved our stay and would highly recommend the villa. The local beaches are also stunning and it's a perfect location for day trips into Porto.

Great house, loads of room and well furnished and appointed. Pool, tennis court and gardens are all well looked after. Owner was very helpful during our stay. Would definitely take it again.
