Unique Bali style villa with incredible views. A nature lovers paradise!

Excellent vacation property. The house is lovely and fully equipped. The pool is wonderful and I had many naps in the hammock. Birds, iguanas and other wildlife abounds the property. The house is located a short hop to town and very close to highway 27 taking you to Santa Ana eastbound or Jaco westward.

Great property, lots of light, brilliant views. More beautiful in reality than the photos. Good support from the property managers.

Words can’t express how great this property is. The check in process with Yvonne was amazing….she met us in town and we followed her to the house. When I talk about letting your soul relax, this is that kind of place. This property allowed us to fully disconnect and recharge. Nothing like the smell of fresh limes coming out of the bedrooms in the morning, hearing the monkeys call to each other, the sunrises over the valley and watching the amazing rainstorms. Hummingbirds and butterflies filled the property and we had lots of laughs listening to the iguanas on the roof. Piet and Yvonne were quick to respond and nothing delayed our experience. We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful location and fabulous Bali style home. The pool was a hit with our eleven year old granddaughter.

My husband and I enjoyed our 8 nights here. Peaceful and easy to just relax. Close to everything in town but secluded perch to enjoy your time away. Of course, Piet & Yvonne are amazing, we love staying at one of their properties. Only thing I would change is having the gardeners descend on the property for 4-5 hours one morning during our stay. The exhaust from the power tools made it so we had to close up the house. They are all over, even right outside the bedrooms so we could not enjoy the house that day until they departed. Other than the gardeners, everything is just perfect! So many places to enjoy the view. Beds are comfy and so is the couch. Newly refurbished pool is wonderful. A little solar heat would be helpful because it is chilly. The hummingbirds are so plentiful over by the casita, loved watching them. I highly recommend staying here. We have stayed in a lot of houses in Atenas and so far this one is the best!!

You need to stay here. The villa has a beautiful yet casual Balinese style. The casita is spectacular for an extra couple. The views of the layers of mountain and the lighted up valley below at night are spectacular, whether you’re in/around the pool or on the casita back deck. A bit of rain (we went in October) helps cool things down in the afternoons and we mostly sat outside under the covered deck to enjoy it. Almost all mornings were sunny. House managers Piet & Yvonne are very helpful, responsive and delightful. We loved Atenas and especially the community of people. There are lots of places to go to and enjoy the outdoors. You can also hike just out your door, and we mostly just enjoyed the area, which were both relaxing and refreshing for us. Loved every minute of it. But really, the villa and the view, it’s very hard to find that somewhere else.

The place was nice but not what we expected. We wanted to stay in a Newer updated light place. The listing claimed it was NEW however I think that pertained to a New listing. The photos on the listing were photoshopped I believe. The house is darker inside. You had to have the lights on in the daytime. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bbq was pretty new the beds were comfortable but the water was not warm. I like to rinse my dishes in HOT water and have a warm shower. I called the property manager and I was told that the water is solar heated and there wasn't a lot of sun on the days we stayed so tepid showers is what we had. The master shower was kind of cool cause you felt like you in the jungle. Would have been nice to have a warm shower. The property managers were very attentive. One thing also there is a safe but it does not work I was told we had a key but there was NO key on the keychain. Overall we were disappointed because we expected a newer home and it's clearly a worn older home so our experience was not what we expected.

The first impression of this very unique house was pure excitement. Loved the unusual layout and the perfect views from every angle. Lots of opportunities to see the Flora and Fauna that Costa Rica has to offer. Spent a lot of time on the Casita terrace to watch Motmot, Hummingbirds, Butterflies, and even a white faced monkey. As an alert to future residents: If you are dependent on reliable wi-fi, this is not a good location. Personally, I would also like to see a much more upscale pool, preferably with solar heat and a bit better accessibility. Get ready to share your abode with the typical Costa Rican flying and crawling critters. :) Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, with better stocked pantry of everyday necessities than we have ever experienced. What an incredible stay we had at this beautiful home! The safety and convenience of being close to town and yet to be surrounded by nature was the perfect combo. Birdsong and nature were our alarm clock. What a great way to wake up! Every morning we would open all the sliding 'walls' and invite the outdoors in to create the seamless transition of indoor to outdoor living. We would sit on the comfortable loungers and sip delicious costa rican coffee overlooking the mountains and valley. We made good use of the BBQ and enjoyed our dinners at the outdoor table with amazing views. Even the dinner clean up was enjoyable..looking out at the serene courtyard garden and water fountain. In that garden is a generous lime tree which we also took advantage of..(think home made margaritas!). We used the pool every day. The water was refreshing. We were pleasantly surprised to find a weight set and yoga mats on the deck. We enjoyed every space this home has to offer. I found myself just wandering around taking in all the beautiful views from every vantage point..they are endless! The mattress was very comfortable. The sitting areas off each bedroom were lovely and could provide a quiet, private space if needed. The kitchen had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. We didnt want for anything..(except maybe a juicer for those limes! Lol) We saw lots of hummingbirds, a toucan, eguanas, even white faced monkeys one day! And hardly any flying bugs! Wonderful home and vacation!!!

Absolutely Beautiful House! View just like described! We were 3 couples, and we all loved the stay. From the awakening of the various birds signing to a beautiful forest view! The house has everything your normal home would have. Very well secure with a gated community. Definity recommend it!
