Atenas Mountain Top Villa - Heated Pool- Breathtaking Views. AC in the bedrooms

This is a beautiful property, even better than we'd hoped for. The house is spacious, well laid out, well-equipped and comfortable. The kitchen has every appliance and extra you could want. The view, magnificent. Breathtaking at night. Sandra and Klaas are perfect hosts, absolutely the best. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and, of course, Jewel Villa. We wish we would have found this place 10 years ago.

Amazing place! The pool, the views, the amenities, everything was great. Sandra and her husband were very attentive and kind. All questions or requests were answered really fast. Great communicationAtenas is beautiful and the food at the restaurants near by simply delicious.

We started our first ever Costa Rican adventure at Jewel Villa and it was a phenomenal experience. What drew me to this property was the pictures of the house itself and the amazing views/amenities. As amazing as the pictures are, the experience of the property is far greater than what I had expected. It was so peaceful and beautiful up there. My whole family of 5 (including 3 teenagers) felt instant tranquility there. What made this property truly exceptional though, was the property managers, Klaas and Sandra. They were just wonderful. We chose to use many of their services and all were worth every penny. Klaas was a fantastic guide and was lovely company as we explored in Costa Rica for the first time. If Jewel Villa is available, book it. You won't regret it.

We had an incredible stay at Atenas Mountain Top Villa! The views are stunning and the pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing. The location couldn’t be better: peaceful, private, and still just a short drive to Atenas.The hosts were fantastic—warm, responsive, and thoughtful in every detail. We truly felt welcomed and cared for throughout our stay.Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Costa Rica. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing views, wonderful property overall, responsive host, great location... pictures just can't capture the beauty the eye can!

Everything was exactly as promised. The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the property itself is immaculate. The property manager was extremely responsive and made sure everything went very smoothly for a top-notch experience. The property is very close to town and restaurants. I highly recommend this Roca Verde property in Atenas.

This house was beautiful. The views from the pool and patios were amazing.. you can see for miles and miles. The 3 on suite bedrooms are great and the kitchen was fully stocked with supplies. The gated community added a layer of safety. Sandra was always super helpful with suggestions and helping plan tours and giving advice. Perfect secluded get away

We stayed for 6 nights, it was so beautiful and homey! We loved the pool and hot tub! We’re coming back next February! Love it here !

We had an amazing week in Costa Rica. The property is on a mountain side which results in a temperature about 3 or 4 Celsius cooler than in town . There is also a light breeze that helps keep the temperature comfortable. All 3 bedrooms were lovely and spacious and each had their own ensuite. We absolutely loved it!

My family and I had a great time! The house is very spacious and had everything we need. The view is breathtaking, and we enjoyed it every day. Klaas and his wife Sandra were very attentive and took care of all the details quickly and efficiently from our arrival to our departure. With our tours and everything we needed. They were amazing I would recommend renting a car with Maria from Alamo, she was wonderful. We already miss our days in Costa Rica!!

This was our first experience with a VRBO property and we knocked it out of the park. Not only was the property amazing (super clean, spacious, beautiful views, etc), but our property managers Klaas and Sandra went above and beyond. Not only did they do our grocery shopping for us ahead of time, but Klaas hooked us up with an english-speaking cab driver, a list of recommendations, and was essentially our tour guide for all the excursions we took. He provided a ton of information about the area, the locals, and the particular places we visited. He also made sure that we were safe and prepared for each excursion. One of the options we chose was probably not safe for my daughter and MIL due to all the rain they just had so he helped us find another option that was better suited. It was the perfect way to explore a new area for people who had never been and were english-speaking. It was an incredible adventure with zero stress.

Lovely property, very clean, ample parking, secure gated community, all the facilities and some at the house. Nice welcome gift of local coffee and bananas. The views over San Jose beyond the pool were amazing at both day and night. Atenas is a nice town. Sandra our host made some recommendations which were great. Monsoon, La Jardin as well as some other places we found in the hills. Costa Tica is lush and beautiful and it would be great to go back and explore further.

This house is amazing. The pictures really do not do it justice. Even my teens agreed. With the amazing views, lots of outdoor space and a lot of indoor space for us to spread out, we could not have picked a better place to stay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. We all loved having our own private pool and hot tub that we could use 24/7. The kitchen had everything we needed. And it was very convenient having our own washer and dryer in the house. There is no AC, but we never had an issue with the many ceiling fans, floor fans, and slider doors. I highly recommend this rental.

The house was incredible, and the pictures do not do it justice. We stayed 5 nights and I wish we stayed longer. Sandra, Marco, and Klaas were amazing, and they helped organize all our adventures. We did the private catamaran with Neil, the speedboat with Robert and Ziplining. All of those were amazing. We will definitely be back!

View great, floors slick. Bugs in green season. HVAC would be welcome, nights especially. Very pretty and non rain sunsets nice. Quiet town, very.
