Stayed Jan 7, 2022Just beautiful weather and private beach. We would have loved to stay longer. Very nice and accommodating people. We enjoyed the big open space of the home playing family games and hearing the waves. Lots to do nearby. We would have liked lights in the bathroom and warm water but we are in the DR and need to be gracious of availability. Thank you for having us.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We were looking for a place to stay during a friend’s wedding at Dreams and did not want to stay at a resort. We were also bringing our parents as it was my wife’s parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. This was just what our family needed. We were looking for something different that was a bit more natural and not so fancy like the resorts are. My wife enjoyed the freedom to just walk downstairs without feeling like she needed to be “made-up” to go to the “resort restaurant or bar” for coffee, drink or a meal. This feeling transcended to the beach where it wasn’t full of people looking to see and be seen. We basically had our own private beach for the week. I would highly recommend asking the owner to hire a cook (Nilda) for you for a slight extra charge. She will help you get groceries and fix authentic Dominican cuisine for you. This made the trip extremely relaxing. Waking up to the sound of waves, a free range rooster and the smell of fresh coffee/breakfast cooking is not something easily experienced anywhere else. We felt extremely pampered and she was a wonderful person. The caretaker of the property (Santiago) is also a very nice man and one of his sons is usually on the beach in the small white store on the right next to the Zoetry resort. For you fishermen out there, I was able to fish directly from shore using lures on spinning tackle with mixed results. I would recommend bait if you want to do this. I was also able to walk to the lagoon and use my fly rod but the only way to get a good fish doing that in the lagoon would be to rent a kayak or small boat. The shoreline is not accessible for the biggest part of the lagoon. We rented a car for the week and had no problems driving to get groceries, driving to Dreams for the wedding, taking a trip to Higuey to see the basilica, going out to the Hard Rock casino one night, etc. We had some trouble with the WiFi hotspot that is at the house but the resort next door (Zoetry) has open WiFi so we were able to get connected while lying in the beach chairs, real hardship there . The only thing that would make the house perfect would be hot water. This was really not as big an issue as it might sound as we took showers after being on the hot beach all day and it was refreshing. Morning showers would be an issue; If you are that inflexible, you probably don’t belong in the Dominican Republic at all much less this house. Thanks Villijant!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our group of nine had a pre-game 5-night stay here before a four-night stay for a concert run at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana. The value and price for the location, space and privacy would be extremely hard to beat. We had a group of nine and everyone had plenty of space. The upstairs master bedroom with beach/ocean views out shuttered windows was particularly nice. The sound of waves crashing is all you hear at night from the main house. The overflow outbuilding where we slept was not quite as nice, and the septic system created a terrible smell in the outbuilding bathroom which you could also smell from the bedroom. The outbuilding shower drain was clogged upon arrival and was not up to standards you might expect traveling elsewhere. Coupled with a busted a/c, the outbuilding could stand some improvements to increase guests comfort. The caretaker Santiago was pleasant and accommodating. He even went so far to obtain a local pig from a family farm for us and assist with an authentic beachside pig roast, a priceless experience. If you speak Spanish, Santiago can give you all the local information you would ever need. The beach location is stellar. The river flowing to the ocean just a fifteen minute walk down the beach is a great spot. You can watch the sunrise over the ocean a short stroll in the other direction. Having your own private beach and house next door to where everyone else is paying exorbitant all inclusive fees for shared beach access is pretty sweet, you can't beat it. The kitchen was fine, our chef brought his own tools and fed us like royalty on locally sourced foods and the patio/covered common area were wonderful for group meals. Santiago kept the backyard immaculate and the grounds made a killer LED bocce ball court at night and Frisbee field at daytime. You can stroll to and from the house and the beach in bare feet all day long, no hurries no worries. The Wi-Fi is a mobile hotspot and was spotty and slow, but it did work. Overall our group was extremely happy with our experience but ready to move onto our posher accommodations at the Hard Rock upon the final morning. The house could accommodate a few more people than our group of nine but depending on the group might get a bit crowded after that. We would definitely book a future trip. Villijant was gracious, professional and easy to work with, communicative and responsive throughout the whole process of booking internationally.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My family and I had a wonderful stay at this house! With the beach only 30 meters away from the house, you wake up and see the beach! The house is tucked away from the outside world giving you privacy and quiet to relax. There are resorts around but you don't see them. It's a private paradise for you and your family to relax in! There is a nice kitchen and plenty of space in the house. The rooms are clean and spacious, and you are not too hot inside thanks to the air conditioning. The owner is fantastic! He looked after us very well and would get us things that we needed and made sure our stay was easy! The house keeper is great as well! He would go to the shops for us if we needed stuff on his scooter. This is an amazing house that will give you a total relaxed happy environment to have a magical holiday. Thanks for awesome stay! The foxes.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The house was great when we arrived and even picked up at the airport by the owner. Such a peaceful natural position right on the beach even better than the photos. Santiago the caretaker was responsive and extremely courteous to my family. A good idea to rent a car as there are so many beautiful things to see and do close by. We went to Isla Soana for the day and it was easy and unbelievably magnificent A fantastic house

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Property was right on the beach, you are touching the sand as soon as you leave the road. Its very secluded and private, good for a large party. All the rooms were ready when we arrived and the A/C was cold enough to freeze ice-cream :P The guard was very useful, he started a bonfire for us. One recommendation, when you leave the main highway to head to the property, there is a Plaza. In the plaza there is a mini-market. Get that number because they have delivery so you dont have to leave the property just to get ice, or more drinks. Kitchen was handy although we only used it for breakfast. we spent a lovely weekend in this home and the Owner Vili was always available on the phone to answer questions about everything.
