Traditional country house with pool near Ronda la Vieja

A perfect holiday! The house is spacious, spotless and well equipped but it’s the location that makes this house so special. We enjoyed the peace and quiet but equally the house is great if you want to spend the evening in Ronda or head out further to Granada or Seville. Lise is a great housekeeper and made us feel very welcome too.

Property is beautiful and manager really helpful. A little more remote than we realised when booking but an incredible spot in a great property. Good facilities so we had everything we needed.

My family and I had an amazing one week stay at this property. The house and grounds are gorgeous, and we enjoyed exploring the local town of Ronda and other nearby towns. We even made the drive to Marbella on one day and Gibraltar another. Would highly recommend! Just note that the house is quite remote from any nearby services, so expect a good 30 minute drive to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Also, be sure to arrange navigation to house before arrival with Lise, as the GPS sent us on a very undeveloped road that nearly destroyed our rent-a-car.

We came to the villa as a family to relax and we did just that with a few visits etc in the middle. The villa is large Stocked with everything you could possibly ask for. Tranquil, with a lovely swimming pool to cool off in Surrounded by almond trees and with a fig tree both of whose fruits we enjoyed it was just perfect the road to the villa gets a bit rough at the end so a 4x4 is recommended though not essential. Altogether a perfect holiday

We had a wonderful week in a beautiful villa. It is in a stunning location with gorgeous views all around. The courtyard and gardens are so pretty and the pool and table tennis kept us all entertained. Thank you to Lise for making our stay so perfect. We would definitely return.

A group of 6 spent 5 nights in this incredible property. There was an abundance of space both inside and outside and we particularly enjoyed following the sun around all the outdoor spaces. The property was clean and very well equipped and being greeted by Lise to explain the basics was very helpful. We found getting to the property a little tricky as the written instructions and google maps try to take you down a pretty non existent road but once Lise showed us the better road to use, all future journeys to and from the property were a lot simpler. We also found the written notes in the property very helpful and had a wonderful day at a vineyard within walking distance that had been recommended. All in all we had a great trip and I am actually planning a return visit with my family later in the year.

Beautiful secluded villa, very rural location but we were fortunate to have been given a car hire upgrade to a SUV which made exploring the local area easier. Villa comfortable & well equipped & Lise very helpful with villa/locality queries. Very relaxing holiday spent mainly at the villa chilling out enjoying the amazing views, playing table tennis, swimming in the pool, plus some lovely low-key local sightseeing trips with a very hot day trip to Antequerra & flamingo lake! Lovely area of Spain.
