The Villa at The Ranch Almaden beautiful winery location

The estate was more beautiful in person. The property manager was very helpful and responded to all our questions. The estate was perfect for our whole family ranging from 21-92 years of age. The outdoor kitchen was perfect for casual dining and the chef's kitchen was incredible for our dinners. The movie room and kids room downstairs worked great for all the cousins. We had yoga classes on the lawn and had a tequila presentation in the beautiful bar area. Plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the getaway. We hope to come back next year.

The house was fantastic and the pictures on line don’t do it justice. There was a lot of room for our group of 14 to spread out and excellent gathering places too! You could have 50 people in this place and no one would bump into each other much. The pool was so much fun for the kids, and adults too! The location is close to San Jose so we would have an outing each day and then come back to enjoy the house and pool! The theater room was a great way for the kids to unwind each night. The kids also loved the Happy Hollow Zoo, Children’s Discovery Museum and Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad, all within a 30 minute drive. Matt was a great host and made sure we had his contact info before we got there. We will definitely book this house again!

We had an excellent time at the Ranch Almaden the video you see on YouTube does not do it justice. We had about 30 people attend our 10 year wedding anniversary and all of my guests felt they were at a far away luxury destination. We used the pool and Spa and all was great, we will be reserving this location again.

My daughters wedding weekend was more wonderful than expected. The photos don’t begin to show the size and quality of the villa. Space, space, space!! Every room was full yet we were never crowded. The grounds and pool area are beautiful.

We count ourselves fortunate that such a beautiful property as the Ranch at Almaden is available on VRBO. Our family loved it - from the infinity pool to the well stocked kitchen to the home theater - a big favorite with the children. The property manager was excellent. We have already booked our next stay

The house was awesome with plenty of room for everyone, there were 14 of us. The kitchen is very spacious, allowing for multiple cooks at one time. The outdoor area is very well done. We’re coming back next year.

Great place to stay for special occasions and have a party.

Our Family came from far(New York, Eureka, Danville, Albany and Santa Clara) to celebrate our Mom, Big G and GG’s birth. Our party was mixed - ages ranged from 97 to 7 months. The property and home are beyond spacious. The main level provides enough space to spread out. The downstairs kids area and movie theater provided great entertainment for the kids plus family movie time. The outdoor kitchen, pool and grass area were the center of our life at the ranch. We spent 90% of our time outside swimming, lounging, eating and at night after kids bedtime we sat by the fire and had time to relax and share. On our last night we discovered the front porch was a great place to watch the sunset. We also used the Barns caterer for our Saturday Birthday Lunch which made life easy. The Ranch is set in a beautiful valley with magnificent vistas just perfect to make you feel like you’re miles away from everywhere but only minutes away from home. Thanks Matt and Chris.
