Stayed Jul 3, 2024The visit to this area was probably the most fun of our 11 day trip to Italy. The place with nice and clean. The bed could have been a little more comfortable, but otherwise, the rental was in a nice quiet and scenic spot. Restaurants do have shuttles to pick you up and drop you off. The beach at the bottom of Conca dei Marini was an awesome day. Long steep walk down and up to access the beach on paved steps, but well worth it. There is an excellent restaurant right on the beach, umbrellas to rent and sit under the whole day and cool water to swim in. Super fun. We had the most fun in this area, but, it was only because we had someone driving us around to get from place to place. Otherwise, it would be difficult for someone not used to driving in such narrow roads. Public transportation is not easy to obtain, again for someone not used to doing so in this area.

Stayed Jun 9, 2023This is an interesting place. it's WAY up high on the steep Amalfi coast, between Amalfi and Positano. These roads are extremely narrow and cars drive over the line and fast. It's very stressful driving. This is a great place on the one hand, because it is up high above the crowds, and quiet. But it is nerve wracking to get there. The yard and view of the sea is great. You are up very high, so in mid-June it was much cooler and foggy. The place is fine, and the host left us some food, drink, and fresh fruit, which we appreciated. The beds were fine for 2 nights, but are on the hard side.

Stayed Jul 26, 2022Loved the Villa, The drive was a bit long down to the center of Amalfi, but the peace and quiet was well worth it. Pina was an amazing and responsive host. When i needed a last minute ride to the Darsena boat dock Gianni came thru in a pinch. Thanks again Pina, sorry we didn’t get to met face to face but until we met again Arrivederci

Stayed Jun 22, 2022Apartment was nice … pretty much as advertised. Very remote and quiet, with a good ocean view from patio. But because it is so remote—you must drive to everything. And the driving was horrible… very narrow winding roads with lots of traffic and no way for 2 cars to pass each other. It is a 20 minute ride down the mountain to Amalfi , where the traffic and congestion of cars, buses, motorcycles is crazy! And very limited parking once you get there. That drive really was a hectic way to begin and end every day. We finally left early and went to a Sorrento hotel - much better experience there.

Stayed Jun 29, 2019Our group of 4 really enjoyed our stay in Amalfi. Everything stated about the home and the hosts - Pina and Antonio - in earlier reviews rang true with us - they were great to work with, easy to communicate with, and gracious hosts. The home was spotless and in great shape. The town of Amalfi was about 20 minutes drive, and there are a few restaurants and stores just down the hill. We highly recommend La Piazza Da Nino - when we attempted to walk to Nino's place, we took a wrong turn and ended up pretty far away. The owners of the local market called Nino for us and he actually came and got us and brought us to his restaurant. (Ride home back up the hill too.) And the food was great. Overall the location was a unique setting and convenient for day trips around the region. We can't wait to go back! Thank you Pina and Antonio!

Stayed Jul 16, 2018We had a wonderful time here at the Rose Garden. Rosa, the owner, and her daughter made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. They had a book with information on local restaurants, stores, hikes, and important phone numbers. Pina even had homemade tiramisu and limoncello waiting for us at our arrival! The place looks just like the pictures and was very clean and comfortable. Everything was in working order. The stove, wifi, and ac worked well for us. The place was stocked with toilet paper, soaps, lotions, dish soap, and laundry soap for our use. My husband and I came to Italy for a quiet, private holiday and the location was perfect for that. It is very quiet and peaceful at night and nothing woke us in the morning on the days we wanted to sleep in. The house is only a short 15 minute drive to the center of Amalfi, where we spent a lot of time shopping, eating, enjoying the beautiful church there, and hanging out at the beach. We absolutely loved our stay. Pina is a wonderful person and she made our stay unforgettable. I would much rather stay in a nice quiet place like this than a large, busy hotel. We found out that she is currently renovating another place and we plan on returning with our whole family. Thank you again Pina for a beautiful, peaceful, relaxing holiday!
