“The Long House” created long lasting memories. From the moment we met Mossy at the airport it was an incredible experience. I could go on and on about the house but not enough time or space. As beautiful as the island is, we couldn’t wait to get back to the long house. The views, the breeze blowing through the house, the incredible pool, why leave…………

Excellent floor plan whether it be for two or an entire family! Warm weather, fantastic pool, and loved the birds and geckos that frequently travelled throughout the home.Thank you for a fantastic vacation!

A beautiful home in a beautiful location. Quiet, relaxing and spacious enough for privacy even if a few couples are in your group. Fantastic views of the lagoon and ocean beyond and just a short drive to great beaches and restaurants. Our 7th trip to the Longhouse and won't be our last!

The Long house is paradise found! My husband and I spent 6 weeks in this beautiful home. It begins with an elegant stone entry and big doors that open to gardens and sky. The next thing you see is a glowing infinity pool and then the view that goes out across inlets of sea, lush green hills and big sky view. I often found myself standing on the veranda and just looking, the changing sky here is a show in itself. The kitchen opens to the outdoors and living space, every wall in this house opens up to catch the wind and bring in the sun or to create shade. It is like living outside but with the comforts of the indoors. We loved the sunrises on the back patio and the sunsets out by the pool. We would come home from the beach, pool dip and then grab our bottle of wine, situate the lounges and tuck in for our evening sunset, it was different and spectacular every night! It became our evening movie and afterwards the star gazing was the night cap. This home is cool, breezy and opens up so much that occasionally a bird would soar right through the living room. One day I looked up into the eyes of a cute little bird perched on the couch across from me, just checking me out. We loved the wild Donkeys that live along the road, while there, a foul was born, he would peek out from behind his mama with his thick bangs, so cute. The Long house is beautifully done for the ultimate Caribbean vacation. Nick and Mossy took perfect care of us. This place really is an Oasis of tranquility

Nicely remote, very open house, beautiful pool, comfortable beds. No ice maker in the fridge but our escort to the house told us that so we bought ice. The house does not have air condoning which we knew when we made the reservation but we didn't know we would have extreme heat during our visit which made us very hot and unable to escape the heat. Otherwise, we enjoyed our visit.

This property was amazing. Waking up the the view of the bay each morning was priceless. I do wished AC was installed in each bedroom and the road paved. Otherwise the best vacation ever. Family is everything and this property brought us all a bit closer

What an absolutey beautiful home! At first we were taken aback by the location which seemed way out somewhere and then no air conditioning but soon fell in love with the home and grounds and the beautiful island breezes that flow throughout the home. We often laughed that to turn on the A/C was just to simply open the gorgeous mahogany shutters and let the breeze cool the house - it was so relaxing...what a gift! The house is in a very secluded part of the island away from the hustle and bustle of St. John's but still within 30 minutes to Nelson's Dockyard where we enjoyed an amazing lunch at The Boom - highly recommended! Other than that venture we cooked at home as we love to cook. The kitchen is fully equipped - we did have an adventure learning to cook on a charcoal grill which was new to us but fun! The grocery store experience resulted in a bit of sticker shock but this is an Island that has to import everything so just be prepared$$$ I cannot say enough about the house - it is appropriately called the Longhouse because it IS! LOL - but the heart of it is the beautiful living room, dining room, kitchen and outdoor covered patio overlooking the MAGNIFICENT WARM INFINITY POOL! It is the most amazing pool we have ever enjoyed in 15 years of villa rentals. And to sit and watch the hummingbirds, finches & doves working through the landscape was just a treat! Nick (via messaging) & Mossy (on island) were fabulous hosts and responded to every request/concern!

Beautiful remote location overlooking a lagoon. The property is idylic. Well appointed and has everything you need for a chilled out holiday, comfy beds, outdoor dining, barbecue and lovely pool. Amazing sunsets.Hosts are superb and will take good care of you on arrival etc. Can't recommend enough. You need a car to go places and see the island.

Love the Longhouse. 5th Stay in 7 years and would have been more if not for Covid. The perfect blend of a quiet out of the way tropical oasis but with all the comforts of a great resort and only minutes away from some great beaches and fantastic restaurants. The views are the best, and the breeze off the sea along with a great pool makes the Longhouse a wonderful place to spend a hot lazy day or days. Communication with Nick and Mossy is top notch and the maid Mercedes is a pure delight. Home a week now and can't wait for our next visit.
