Unfortunately sheets were not clean, bed looks like was used and sheets were not cleaned or replaced. Towels seems used over 2000 thousand times and has not been replaced. Home inside is smaller than appear on pictures. The whole property needs some remodeling, homes smells like old place.

The pool was fabulous and it was wonderful to have access to the ocean as well. My 11 year old granddaughter had such fun snorkeling right off shore. The wrap around screened in porch is such a nice touch and the kitchen was well set up. Lots of stair going up to the unit and a spiral staircase inside got a little old after awhile. Overall a wonderful family experience.

The property was clean and beautiful. Great location next to a great beach. There was a lot of seaweed this year but at no fault of the owners. The bungalows are a nice touch from a traditional hotel room. My kids love it. Each unit is well stocked with essentials. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time staying at this property and we are already discussing when we can come back. The ameninities are endless - a full kitchen with all needed pots/pans and utencils, coffee, appliances, ample sitting room, laundry, TV's and 2 full bathrooms. This place is truly a one-stop shop and the location is perfect. The staff was beyond nice and helpful, especially when I made my usual mistake of locking myself out of the villa at the end of a long day. We would love to come back!

Wonderful stay and perfect location to explore all of the Florida Keys. We were promised a groomed beach and the sargassum was just covered up with sand. Other than the smell of rotten waste, we enjoyed our stay.

I was expecting to hangout on the beach. The location has a bacterial virus in the seaweed, and the seaweed was backed up from the beach into the water for about 40 feet. The smell was horrible and reached up to the patio. I never did get to go swimming.

Customer Service was wonderful. They were friendly and knowledgeable and were able to accommodate us to add an additional night to the beginning of our stay. The pool and grounds were nice, and we enjoyed sitting out on the beach. The unit we stayed in needed a thorough cleaning and new paint. The carpet on the stairs appeared to be from the 70's and was dirty and they advised us they were getting it cleaned immediately. We provided positive and negative feedback on some concerns we had regarding the unit. Cocoa Plum reached out to us via phone and email and took immediate action to address our concerns and to use the information to help them make positive changes going forward. We so appreciate that they did and because of their quick response will consider them again in the future. Thank you.

Overall it was a great stay. Came with kids, and they had so much fun. Will definitely be back.

The property more than met our expectations. The manager and maintenance went out of their way to accommodate everyone and make them feel welcome. The pool/beach view can't be beat. Definitely planning on a return in the near future.

Unit was well furnished. Area was convenient. Loved that it had it's own beach with plenty of chairs. Would recommend an umbrella if you don't want to be in the sun. Not much shade. Very quiet.

We enjoyed the private beach, pool and hot tub. The villa needed some repair (broken lock on sliding glass door, screws loose on stair railing, table lamps in upstairs living room were about to fall apart). and the bathrooms were quite small. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It was very clean. I would stay there again and recommend it to others.

Clean, host very helpful. Hot tub great, kitchen small very wel appointed. Plenty of room for 2 peope, but could be very for 4. Longest beach to walk in the Keys I was told. Idf not it is certainly one of the longest and prettiest. Great parking. nice tennis court and basketball. Would stay her again. If you visit the area and are interested in history, don't miss Pigen Key. Nice day trip to Key West. Sea food the best at the Fisheries. Market and restaurant with perfect sunset view and out door dining. If you are doing seafoon anywhere in th eKeys go to a Market/Restaurant because it is the freshest as these folks deal directly with the fisherman. Local Bike shop rents and deliver standard and electric bikes and picks 'em up. Very reasonable.

Great location on Marathan Key - About halfway between Miami and Key West, so we used this as our base of operations to explore the area. The unit itself was right on a little sandy beach which we loved and the place had a ton of room for the three of s traveling together. A lovely screened-in porch, two living areas and while the kitchen was small, it had everything you needed along with a pass window to the porch, where we ate all of our meals. Definitely recommend.

This quirky place was great for our group of 5. The private beach with an adjacent pool was super fun for our kiddo, felt like everyone got what they wanted in the same place! The rental had lots of little thoughtful details like a laundry hamper-not to mention private laundry room for each villa! The interior could use a little updating but we really enjoyed our stay here. Slow mornings drinking coffee on the screened in porch were so nice! Would definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay here! My kids lived in the pool and the ocean for 4 days. The condo itself had a quirky layout, but it was everything we needed. It was clean, the kitchen is fully stocked, the staff are wonderful and even cut down and cut open a coconut for my kids to try. The price was great for the area and we'd definitely stay there again!

The best staff, we were by the tennis courts. These are older Condos but the grounds were beautiful and very clean. I can’t remember seeing anything about the spiral staircase. It was too many stairs for our family so we will not be back but that is the only reason. Everything else was Awesome.

Old and out dated condos. Condos have a bad smell to them due to old carpet and mildew. My family and I made the most of our vacation but would not come back. We paid way too much for this 2.5 star condo due to being mislead online through VRBO. This property has great potential to be awesome but until then don’t expect what you see online.Laundry room appliances kept breaking, toilets clogged very easy, and your clothes and towels will eventually smell like the condo which is gross. Kitchen is super small, beach would only get 1/2 cleaned, hot tub broke, and ocean was never clear blue water. Property is located on the east side of Marathon. Maintenance fixed everything which was great but it doesn’t happen fast since his list never ends. Locals claimed the east side majority gets the easterly winds causing waves and cloudy water. All the beautiful calm clear water is on west side of the Florida Keys. I wish I knew this before I booked the condo. This place should never be priced over 300/night.

The pictures do not do it justice. When I initally booked I thought wow right near the water, small place it will be great. When we got there we didnt realize that the beach was literally steps from our front door. The washing machine and dryer were a huge plus. We loved using the screened patio and the kitchen pass through for dinners. I 100% recommend this place. It is perfect for families and those who want to get away. The pool was great. There were always chair available on the beach (just remember to bring your own umbrella... your future sunburned self will thank you). I will 100% go back for another restful stay!

Great find on the beach in Marathon! Nice central location in the Keys. The house and property were very clean, and kitchen had everything needed. I loved the screened in porch and watching sunrises at the beach. The front desk was super helpful when our AC wasn’t working. I let them know in the morning and they sent someone out right away to fix it. I would highly recommend staying here!

Coco Plums was a lovely property. The house was clean and the check in easy. But it is an old property. The kitchen has great supplies but is tiny! The bedrooms are very small, and the bathrooms VERY tiny! The pool and hot tub were great and location of property fantastic. It was quiet. But the living area wasn’t very comfortable and the house does have very steep spiral stairs that go upstairs. We spent a lot of time on the screened in deck which was great but not a place to plop down after the beach and watch a movie. Just know that. We were fine reading books and playing games and didn’t spend much time indoors so 4 out of 5.

One of the few resorts right on a beach! And being in Marathon, it’s a quick drive up to Islamorada or to Key West!

Property needs a little old. Enjoyed the stay although the sargassum on the beach was not what we expected. Nothing you as the host could do about that. Mother Nature at work. Beautiful sunrise though from the beach. Pool was satisfactory and quiet. Just what we were looking for.

More disclosure on the outside steps going in and metal spiral stairs case to bedrooms. To add to that no bathroom facilities on main level.

Was not made aware the hot tub was under construction prior to visit.Pool not accessible after sunset was a little inconvenient.Inside was a little outdated and could use a partial bathroom on first floor.

Very accommodating! The host worked with us in every way possible given some tough circumstances. Clean, great spot on the beach. Great setup for five people. Everything was just awesome.

We didn’t stay there after walking in and smelling a strong mold and mildew smell on the top level, sleeping rooms. I returned the keys to the office and explained the concern. They told me the owners would be in touch. I never heard back from them.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff were helpful and kind. Brit was kind and bumped the heat up on the pool we were there during the cold front that went through. We thought the weather was perfect coming from the negative temps up north. Thanks for our stay.

Our stay here was nice and the office staff at the facility were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean with plenty of linens. The pool was nice, but not very deep. We were glad there was a hot tub for cool days. Nice location.

Our stay was nice but the rooms are getting old and dingy. They are not luxurious but we don’t spend much time in our rooms. The grounds are very well kept. The beach is groomed and pretty!

The location is perfect; and right on the beach. However, the only draw back was all the stairs and the fact that the hot tub closes at sunset.

1st and foremost, the staff was great and the room was very clean. The pool and hot tub were great and all the vegitation throughout the villas was beautiful and nicely kept. The property, furniture, and decor is very dated. Our place didnt have any smart tvs so we could watch our streaming services which was disappointing. The wifi was more out than in for us at our place. Bug spray is highly suggested as we encountered an onslaught of no-see-ums. As for the beach....we ran across foul smells, broken glass, and trash that either washed up or was left by previous renters. The price we paid for an October vacation was very reasonable and helped with the cons this place presented.

Overall the stay was great! The only complaint is the amount of hair that was in the guest bathroom tub when we arrived. We cleaned the tub and moved on with our vacation.

Due to circumstances beyond the owners control we were only able to stay one night. The property manager and owner of the property were super helpful, very nice and ended up giving us a full refund. We will be coming back at a later date for sure. It was a beautiful place right on the beach. We definitely recommend!

Quiet and friendly

Unit was very clean, stocked with all the kitchen standards/needs. We didn't have a beach front unit but still had ocean views. Checkin and out was easy and the lady was very nice, she even offered some helpful insite into beaches, shops and food. Great location to beaches and boat ramps.

4 adults - we had a good time here. The beach was okay the ocean was super hot so we spent most of the time in the pool. The jacuzzi was nice at night time. Check in was smooth, parking easy. Very quiet, no noise, nothing bothered us. I would recommend bringing beach towels we thought we could buy some quick but we wasted an hour searching stores where a towel wasn't 50. We also bought a styrofoam cooler for the beach/pool. The place was pretty clean, beds seemed comfortable. No bathroom on the first floor and the spiral staircase could be a problem for older people. The enclosed balcony is large and super convenient as we got destroyed by sand flies at night over by the beach/pool. It is close to a lot of restaurants and attractions. Taking an uber is convenient if you don't want to drive.

My son and My loved staying at the Coco Plum Beach and Tennis Club. Cozy and great location. Staff did a great job, too.

Even though the property is older, they have kept up with remodeling. We were there in the off season...so very few guest. At times we had the pool all to ourselves. Mothernature brought in some seaweed, but still were able to get into the ocean which was very warm. Overall a great spot , would visit again!!

The service was good, and the unit was spacious and comfortable. However, we had hoped for a more resort-like feel. The beach was horrible, and we were hoping to use the grills, but we didn't when we saw that we would need charcoal and grill tools.

Our family of 4 found this VRBO the perfect place to stay for our south Florida vacation. It is a family-operated resort called the Cocoplum Beach & Tennis Club. The location is ideal for a vacation in the Keys. It is right in the middle of Marathon with restaurants, shopping and lots to do like snorkeling, fishing, and marine animal sanctuaries nearby. Two days, we just stayed on site to enjoy the pool and beach. The property is kept extremely clean and the grounds are immaculate. Seaweed on the beach was swept up every morning. The pool is small and the resort isn't large so we felt it was a very safe for our kids. Also it’s a quiet resort so you can really relax. The units are super spacious and have all the amenities you could want. We cooked breakfasts, made simple lunches, and went out for dinner each night. The kitchen was lovely and updated. The bathrooms had older tile and features but also brand new clean shower enclosure. We loved having two bedrooms and two bathrooms! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

My friends and i enjoyed our stay. Easy access to multiple restaurants and grocery items store. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were great.

Very nice couple that manage (own?) this quiet property. Beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms however were very tiny, no fans and outdated, but kitchen was well-equipped and updated. Each unit does have alot of stairs as stated in description. On the plus side no one is above or below you and screen balcony is really large. Each unit has its own laundry facilities on ground level. Landscaping throughout property is nicely maintained. Biggest complaint was heated pool water was colder than the ocean water in mid-Feb. Luckily the ocean was fairly warm. Nice private beach with plenty of loungers. Hot tub water is not hot enough IMO. Maybe 3/4 mile from main rd.

We enjoyed our stay at Cocoplum in Marathon! The place was perfect for our family of five and the location was awesome. We had everything we needed for our stay and if we had any questions, they were answered quickly. Thank you for making our visit to the Keys so memorable:)

The property was great for our short winter getaway. Nice, quiet location on the beach and the pool was nice too. Will definitely be going back if we make another trip to the area and would have loved to stay longer.

This is an older place but it was clean. The hot tub is wonderful and the pool is great and clean. Other reviews mention stairs and there are an outside one as well as a spiral one inside. We didn’t have any problems but some might. We are already talking about staying here next year.

Wonderful propert with beautiful beach

Prices compared to other properties is excellent. The property is a bit outdated but very clean. The management is exceptional. We stayed in marathon, which is in the middle of the Florida keys, but wished I was closer to key west. So much more happening in key west.

We were upgraded to beachfront when we arrived due to some onsite construction. We were very appreciative of the move. It made our stay there even better. The staff members were helpful and visible throughout our week-long stay. The property was very clean, quiet, and relaxing. My only warning/suggestion for those looking into these units is to be sure you can climb stairs. The units are a flight up off the ground and then the bedrooms and bathrooms are another flight up a spiral staircase.

We enjoyed our stay at Coco Plum. Unit was easy to access and we loved the location.
