Stayed Dec 30, 2024Our three generations (12 people) enjoyed relaxing and connecting on the island of Mo’orea in this Beach house. The location is perfect for getting to/from the ferry and having a market close by for food is great (take reusable shopping bags with you). The bedrooms were large enough to move around and the large beds (kings) comfortable for sleeping. The bathrooms were roomy and had plenty of towels, shampoo and storage space for your things. There is snorkeling gear as well as kayaks, a canoe and paddleboard. Our group saw a small shark, mano’rays a turtle and lots of fish while snorkeling. There are lounges for sun bathing or drying off from a water outing. The host or manager was quick to reply to our questions or concerns. There are games and books if you aren’t spending all your time outside in the water. The house was clean and the back dining area was great for eating and talking. There are plenty of dishes and cookware to make meals easily for your group. The rain made having hot water (solar) a little difficult a day or two, but usually the weather was warm enough that a cool shower was refreshing after being outside. Be very careful with removing and replacing the kayaks, canoe and paddleboard, the rocks are rougher than they appear and can damage them if not attentive. We tried some of the local food and it was good and plentiful. The local people were very friendly. We enjoyed our time and think the memories we made will last each of us a lifetime.
