Stayed for 8 days, is this fantastic vila. Everything we wanted and Paul couldnt have done enough for us. Would highly recommend to families or 2 sharing, ample of room with local bars, restaurants and a spar close by. Look forward to returning in the future

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Coruja in mid April 2025. Two families traveling together with 4 teenagers, and we felt we had plenty of room to spread out. The larger bedrooms for the adults were at opposite ends of the home for a bit more privacy. There was enough room so we could spread out and not be falling over each other. Wi-fi was good. The kitchen is a bit small by our standards, so you probably dont want to plan on cooking large meals, but was fine for putting together breakfast or a lunch snack. Bathrooms were large and clean- be sure to bring your own soap! Pool is always everyone's highlight- but even with it heated, it was too cold for us most of the time. However, the outdoor spaces were a highlight for us. We grilled and enjoyed our drinks on the patio on multiple beautiful nights. There is a high wall around the house, giving it a sense of privacy and grandeur. The walking path around the home is well landscaped. We enjoyed the home's location set away from the bustle of downtown, but close enough to reach most spots in 15-20 minute walk. There is a shortcut between homes that cuts off time from what Google maps predicts. There are 3 restaurants, a small market, and a coffee shop within a 5 minute walk. It is only 4-5 euros to get downtown. The best part of the home was the host- Paul. He was super friendly and accommodating. Made restaurant reservations for us, drove us in for groceries twice, answered all questions, and always had a smile.

Paul is very helpful with restaurant recommendations and shopping. He checks in regularly to make sure we have everything we needed. Great spot for family and friends!

The villa was in a great location and was spotlessly clean. We had a really relaxing week there chilling out by the beautiful pool. The beds were really comfy with lovely bedlinen - Paul was a great host and nothing was too much trouble - a great week!

Just got back from our stay at this wonderful villa, located a 5 minute drive away from Carvoeiro beach and town, and within walking distance of the Vale Centeanes beach. Ubers are also easy to book and quickly available. The villa had everything we needed, and Paul was always on hand to help us with anything we needed - very grateful for running us to and back from the local supermarket and for the restaurant recommendations. He went above and beyond to make our stay as easy and relaxing as possible. We can’t recommend this villa enough and will definitely be going back!

The villa is absolutely lovely and has everything you could possibly need for a holiday! Great location, near a beautiful beach and places to eat. Paul was a great host, offering lots of recommendations and advice. Would highly recommend!

The property is perfectly suited for a week plus stay (we stayed for 10 days). It is located in a very quiet cul de sac, with ample parking. It has a good sized pool, good sized in-built bbq, and a lovely dining area. The pool area is kitted out with plenty of loungers and shade. It's a 15 minute walk to the closest beach (Vale Centeanes) and thanks to Uber, the town centre is just a 5 minute drive away (10 minutes if you count the wait time), which means you can go out and enjoy the many restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend this property, and the host (Paul) lives nearby (practical should you need anything) and is very knowledgeable about Carvoeiro and the surrounding areas. There are two very good supermarkets just over 5 minutes drive away (Intermarche and Apolonia) and the best waterpark in Europe (Slide and Splash Lagoa) is a 10 to 15 minute drive away (Highly recommended if you have kids with you). The Carvoiero Boat Tours, which you book from Carvoeiro Beach, are a fantastic way to spend the morning. All in all, I would highly recommend the property and the area. (We've already been a few times!!!)

Where to begin? The house is exceptional. Plenty of space for our two families to spread. Beds and other furniture are very comfortable. Kitchen has all that you need and a nice spot to do laundry. The outdoor space cannot be beat. Beautiful pool with multiple sitting areas and barbecue. Our host, Paul, was an absolute pleasure. He made sure we had everything we needed and secured wonderful restaurant reservations for us. Highly recommend and hope to return very soon!
