Stylish Villa (6 or 8 bedrooms) with Private Pool, 40 minutes from Florence

The villa is super! Clean, good spacey rooms, a proper kitchen. There are nice features like sauna, jacuzzi, a proper swimming pool, place to grill. It is nicely located in surrounded by trees, and it is situated in the hills and therefore a bit cooler - which is very nice, no airco needed! The house owners are very nice, respond fast to messages, are more than willing to tell about the to-do's and the environment of Pistoia... to summarize, a pearl in Tuscany. We were with a group of 17 (adults and kids) and we all loved this location.

Great Location. Great and easy communication with the owner!

Great stay by nine adults. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large and well appointed. Living area is also large with many chairs and sofas. Dining table is oval and can seat a large number of people. Kitchen functional and large enough. Grounds are impressive- pool is beautiful albeit not heated. Plenty of outdoor eating areas, all lovely. Outdoor grill is usable but far from house. Neighbor with dog and cats is friendly but cats are too, a problem for our cat allergic member. Driveway is long and very bumpy and nearly impossible to find without human guidance the first time. Two restaurants and a market within five minutes driving. Pizza restaurant looks unremarkable but has amazingly good pizza! Villa is a solid 25 minute drive from Pistoia, up a very steep and hairpin-filled climb. It’s very hilly around the villa - four of us rode road bikes for five days and we were stunned by the length and steepness of the climbs - and the lack of flat segments. Relatively easy access to Florence and Cinque Terra - very fun tourist trips. Pistoia is also a lovely city to visit. Davide did an excellent job managing our trip by making suggestions on food, trips, drivers, wine purchasing, local hiking, in villa cooks (we used them twice, once with pasta cooking lesson which was great fun), and he and his father even gave one of our group with a broken leg a four hour tour by car of the area. All in all an excellent one week vacation!

We were a group of 16 celebrating our 60th birthdays and this house was just perfect for a group that size! Each bedroom was beautiful so everyone was comfortable. The house is well equipped for cooking, relaxing, etc. and the bus stop is a 5 minute walk away down a lovely twisting, turning driveway through the woods. There is a delicious restaurant across from the bus stop that we took advantage of a few times. You can take the bus to any of the surrounding towns but if you take it to Pistoia, you can catch the train to almost anywhere! The pool house is a charming cottage complete with 2 bathrooms, a sauna and full kitchen! Every detail was carefully planned and we found ourselves delightfully surprised as we discovered each nuance that this property has to offer. It is great for hikers as well because there are many trails around the area. To end our stay there the owner arranged for us to have dinner prepared by 2 chefs who did an excellent job. Most of all, we'd like to thank our hosts, Nato and Davide, who went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and assisted whenever we asked. They made us feel welcome and at home for which we were deeply grateful.

We were a group of 14...cousins & spouses, friends and family. The villa was wonderful. We cooked and hiked and swam. The hot tube was a bonus. Each bedroom with its own bathroom worked perfectly for everyone. Davide and his father took care of us. The weather was perfect. The villa didn't include air conditioning which caught us off guard at first, but this location doesn't need it. Keeping the windows open at night made the villa comfortable for the entire day. One evening was so cool we even had a fire in the fireplace...in June! The road up to the villa was a bit of a challenge. It was dubbed 'bobble-head' road by one of our group because of the bumpy, uneven ride. You definitely need a car to reach the villa. The internet service was not available for the first few days but we had invested in a mobile hot spot as part of our rental car. It was indispensable. Highly recommend getting one. The kitchen was well prepared with pots, pans and dishes. We made good use of the clothes washer. We had air-dried clothing for the first time in many years. Our time at the villa was full of laughter, fun and lots of wine. We lived outside at the communal table and pool. It was an unforgettable time. The villa was a delightful home for a week. This was an amazing experience.

It was a real pleasure to stay in Villa Morelli with our family. It is a luxurious villa with plenty of bathroom facilities, a splendid swimming pool and a well equipped kitchen. The management is very friendly and helpful. In the evenings the woods and the hills surrounding the villa cool down the high summer temperatures of Tuscany. Villa Morelli is highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay in this wonderfull villa.

At the beginning of June 2011 we spent 5 fabulous days in Villa Morelli. It total we were 16 adults, so the villa was fully occupied. As it contains 5 double rooms and one twin room in villa and two double rooms in additional house, everybody had also space for privacy. Big living room made our evenings very enjoyable then the entire group get together and had a fabulous time for conversation. Extra points are going for WIFI connection. Its location is very perfect for short daily trips to neighbourhood and cities like Florence, Pisa, Lucca etc. The owners, Davide and Nedo are very helpful and friendly and they do everything to make your stay in villa pleasant and enjoyable. I definitely recommend this villa for a people who like to have privacy with high level accommodation on North Tuscany region
