Stayed Dec 31, 1969Just had a wonderful reunion with a group of friends. Villas Casa Loma in Flamingo Beach supplied us with the perfect venue! We arranged to rent 2 totally private, adjacent, apartments to accommodate us all. They comprised the entire upper level of a huge villa, allowing us voluminous spaces to gather, cook, eat, sleep and just relax in. We housed 4 in the enormous 1 bedroom apartment with a canopy king bed plus additional sleeping on the pull-out couch and a single couch in the large living room. Adjacent was what was called the Treetops Suite which was a massive studio-type apartment with large kitchen, spectacular living room and bedroom plus a 2nd bathroom. There is so much to do and see in the area of Flamingo, that it was sometimes difficult to reach a consensus on what to do. We are all foodies, so were well cared for with the great variety of restaurants in the area. We all enjoyed the quiet ambience of the area and howled with laughter at the antics of Tom and Igor's talking, singing - and laughing - parrot! We were glad we had a car, as we wanted to get around the area and sample some of its delights. Other than restaurants, we really enjoyed a broad range of beautiful beaches and spent some time shopping for souvenirs! Tom and Igor assisted with suggestions for places to see and possible tours to take, too. The staff - although speaking no English - were very generous with their time. Always smiling and pleasant. Thank you, Tom and Igor, for supplying us a great, palm-studded place to holiday! We'll all be back! 5) SUBMIT REVIEW

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The stay in Costa Rica at Casa Lomas can not be described in any other way!!!! Had a beautiful view form the top of the world overlooking a small harbor with boats bobbing up and down. Beyond it was the Pacific Ocean blue and beautiful. Sunsets each night form tis same perch were absolutely magnificent. Many varieties of flowers, plants birds and other animals were visible to us every day. Tired of the view? Then go down to the wonderful pool and relax or head to the nearby beaches where we snorkeled, swam and body surfed. You can do as much or as little as you desire. The temperature every day was between 85 and 90 degrees with an onshore breeze to lighten the temperature a little. Absolutely perfect. Tom and Igor are great hosts and will spend as much time with you as you desire to recommend sights to see, restaurants to dine and directions to various places like the zip lines or cattle ranch where they also process sugar cane. Villas are well kept and comfortable with enough space and amenities to be totally comfortable. My two children are still mad because they couldn't go this year but.....Dates are already being lined up for next year!!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My husband I and stayed at Villas Casa Loma for the month of February 2013 and were so delighted with our hosts ,surroundings and fellow guests that we reserved our villa for Feb.2014.The gardens are well maintained as are the pool and the villas. The VRBO Listing is totally accurate in it's description but cannot recreate the wonderful ambiance and sense of relaxation that washes over you as soon as you arrive.Igor and Tom are wonderful hosts who are eager to insure that you enjoy your stay. They have lived in Costa Rica for many, many years and can give you lots of suggestions that will enhance your holiday and help you enjoy the beauty and adventure of Costa Rica. The view from our Villa was stupendous with incredible sunsets every evening .Our very spacious terrace let us enjoy a glass of wine and Costa Rican splendour at the same time.We can hardly bear the wait until February!!
